Don Wallis was sitting at his desk, tapping away at the keyboard as a late night of working at the office loomed in front of him. The deadline for their monthly sales report was due by the end of the day tomorrow and he was staying over to make sure everything was caught up. He would recheck the information in the morning before sending it out.
He wasn't the only one staying over late in the large but cram-packed office. Their manager and overseer, Andrew Beckett, was holed up in his glass-enclosed office that was situated against one wall. The brightly blue-eyed man with receding hair was hunched over in his seat as he reviewed the weekly and monthly reports that had already been submitted.
Sitting across from Don in the same cubicle was Sally Williams, who was currently on a call with a potential customer. Her hair cascaded down in a frizz of dark brown waves, and her slender hand moved around in the air, pantomiming her words as she spoke.
