Luna woke up the next day after a fitful sleep. Her eyelids were heavy with the feeling of sand grating her eyes, and there were light purple bags lining the underneath of her eyes, making her look like a panda.
It had been difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep after the scare last night. Just because she was a witch with magical powers and knew how to fight, didn't mean that she didn't scare easily. That was especially true when it came to eerie sounds and hard-to-control wildlife. She was a firm believer in protecting animals, both big and small, and wasn't sure how she would handle harming a wolf. Now, if that wolf was a magical being, then that was a whole different story.
She rubbed her eyes, trying to free herself of the sandy feeling. Not feeling any relief, she gave up and decided to get ready for the day.
