Luna quietly ate the food before her, her thoughts torn in two directions. She had promised Mark that she would watch him during the game, but it was also the night that her aunt was planning on doing something foolish, not to mention possibly dangerous.
The only reason why Luna was able to sit there in the diner with Isaac and Simon, was because Elder Jackson had promised to keep an eye on her aunt. She knew her Aunt Phoebe could take care of herself, but she also knew how reckless her aunt was, especially when it came to men; something that didn't change even if it was or wasn't a life-threatening situation.
She was worried, not as worried as she would have been, if not for Elder Jackson. But still worried. Her aunt was, after all, her only surviving family member besides her paternal grandparents, who were retired and living in Florida.
