Mark flipped through his chemistry textbook until he found the answer he was looking for. He then selected the correct answer from the option on his laptop.
After finishing the online assignment from his class, he stood up with a stretch. It was Friday afternoon and he was done with all of his classes for the week and was caught up on most of his homework. The only thing left for the day was to meet up with his High Council mentor, whom Elder Lent had spoken to him about the prior week.
While Elder Lent had gone over the main rules of the High Council of Elders, the mentor was supposed to introduce him to the physical part of the job. And according to Elder Lent, the jobs that came in varied greatly from hunting down demons and rogue magical creatures, to being a bodyguard, to wiping away the memories of normal humans, and so on and so forth.
