Luna checked in on Aunt Phoebe. Her aunt had decided to take a quick bath, without getting her foot wet, before heading straight to bed. Her aunt was curled up underneath the sheets, sound asleep.
She stared at her aunt's sleeping form for a second longer before turning the lights off. Turning on the small lamp that sat on the nightstand near the bed, giving the room a soft glow, Luna slowly made her way to the door.
"How's she doing?" Elder Jackson asked, his eyes lingering on Aunt Phoebe's door with a heavy look of self-contempt dominating their depths.
"Sleeping," she answered, softly shutting the door to her aunt's room. "Thank you for staying." She said, meaning every word. Elder Jackson had felt bad for what had happened and volunteered to stay the night to keep an eye on them and to help out if her aunt needed it.
