After that time, upon returning back to the Southern Plains, Russell, Azalea, and John went up to the Passato family in their royal palace giving their reports on the current state of the exiled Elai Party. George, Nicholas, and Adrian were astonished that the party had changed for the better, and Russell explained and shared his aid for them when Elai was about to die of dysentery, much to their astonishment at his kindness. His kindness really stemmed from his cultural background from his previous life. And so, George and Nicholas eventually gave them the green light to pardon the party and allow them to return back to their country. Russell and his small party were happy with their request, and Russell himself was happy that his plan of alternative punishment for the Elai party had worked well.
And so, the letter of pardon for the party was written and was given the seal of approval by George and Nicholas and handed it to Russell and his party, giving them the task of handing it to the Elai party. Accepting the task wholeheartedly, the small May party left and went back home in Fort Right to rest up for the night.
The next morning, after eating breakfast, Russell and Azalea went up to Nathan in Marewell Town to inform him of the better change of heart of the Elai party. Nathan was stunned and wanted to express and confess his feelings to Elai, who came with them after purchasing a bouquet of flowers, which consisted of 4 blue daisies and 3 red roses. And with that, the party went up to Rane Town to pick up the Elai party and hand them the letter of pardon. Russell now knew that Nathan was in love with Elai, and he was a bit stunned at first, but considered that as a good one in his view.
But then, while Russell and his party are on their way to Rane Town. Aren appeared in the abandoned farmhouse of the Elai party with his Crows Ability and coerced Elai to marry him, or else, he will kill her family. At first, Elai was shocked and thought that he was joking, but when Aren claimed that he had placed magical firebombs at her family home, she had no choice but to comply to prevent the death of her family, much to the shock of her party. Because of that, Aren took Elai with him using his ability, shocking Elai's party.
And so, after Russell and his party arrived at the scene, the Elai party revealed to them what Aren did to Elai. Shocked by what Aren did to Elai, Russell and Nathan decided to crash the royal wedding in Queva City, Batela, and rescue Elai from Aren, no matter how hard it will be. Azalea was stunned but volunteered. The rest of the Elai party also volunteered as well. Luckily, Russell knew much about Batela from his encyclopedia from his first day in this world.
