Third person POV
Russell and his group were happy that they had finished the Valley Worm monster off. "Yay, we did it!" Russell responded with a happy victory.
His friends were happy with victory.
Best of all, all of them and Jan leveled up by 1 level, much to their happiness.
After that, all of them cleaned up their picnic spot, packed everything including the trash, and loaded in Russell's bus, before all of them boarded it and left the area. Along the way, Jan requested to be taken to his hometown of Rane Town in the Province of Yanela to report his recent victory against a monster to the guild there. Russell happily accepted it and commanded his Navigacion to make a route towards that town. Navigacion then accepted it, processed it a bit, and responded with the following:
Rane Town, Yanela Province, the Zale Valleys
Approximately 50 kilometers away from current location
Estimated Travel Time at this current speed: 1 hour and 2 minutes
Road conditions: Very Good
Traffic: Very Smooth
Weather: Sunny
Jan was stunned to see that Russell's bus navigation system can be commanded with just verbal voices.
Later, at 12 noon, the bus arrived at Rane Town, an agricultural town with an adventurers' guild in the center. "We're here," Russell responded while opening the door, before looking at Jan, who was sitting in a seat of the first, front row. "We're here, Jan-san." Looking at the townscape through the windows of the front of the bus, Jan was delighted and stood up, carrying his belongings and going to the front. "Thank you, Russell."
"You're welcome," Russell replied with a quick, happy smile. "By the way, you don't need to pay for the ride. It's free for today."
Jan was delighted. "Thank you. I'll repay you someday."
"Come on, you don't have to. We're happy to help."
Azalea and Ria then nodded to support his statement.
Jan was happy about that. "Okay, thanks. Also, do you want to see the guild where I am a member? It's just somewhere in this town."
"Sure!" Nathan replied back enthusiastically. "We're a bit hungry for lunch, too."
Russell agreed.
So, after Jan got off the bus, Russell drove the bus to a vacant spot and parked there, before turning off the engine and standing up from his driver's seat. As Russell grabbed his belongings, his group stood up, grabbed their belongings, and went to the front. Russell and the group then got off and went to Jan. and then, All of them went to the adventurers' guild with Jan showing the directions towards it.
Not long after, all of them arrived at that adventurers' guild, which was called the Crystal Bits Guild. That guild was the Zale Valleys' official adventurers' guild, with its main headquarters centered in Et Bonde Jem, the capital of the country. This made the guild in Rane Town one of its official branches. Upon entering the reception hall, all of them saw the busy activity in it. Adventurers and explorers are lounging around while engaging in chatting and sharing. The guild receptionists are taking a lunch break at this hour, and the guild's mess hall is packed with people eating and drinking for a midday meal.
"Welcome to the Crystal Bits Guild," Jan brightly introduced. "This is the Zale Valleys' official guild for adventurers and explorers."
Russell and his group were amazed to see that.
"Oh…"
"Woah…"
Russell's mind said, "Wow, much like the Emerald Guild in the Southern Plains…"
All of them then went to the guild reception so Jan would report to one of the receptionists about what had happened last time at the outskirts of Taykar De Et Bonde. Jan did so, and the guild receptionists were shocked to hear that.
"What?"
"You guys defeated a Valley Worm?"
"That one is very tough."
"Yes, we did," Jan happily replied back, before glancing at Russell and the others for a bit, "with our teamwork with my friends."
"Yes, we're from the Southern Plains," Russell brightly added.
"I am an adopted prince of that country," Adrian meekly and humbly added as well.
The guild receptionists were shocked a bit more from last time and eventually said thank you to them for helping Jan.
"You're welcome," Cassius responded positively with a quick and formal bow. "We're happy to help."
Russell then pulled out his bus driver's license and Trait and showed it to the receptionists. "By the way, my name is Russell May, and I am a bus driver."
Seeing that, the three guild receptionists were astonished.
Azalea and those who had Traits and guild membership cards showed theirs.
The receptionists were stunned, knowing that Russell and his group were from the Emerald Guild in the Southern Plains.
Russell and his group then tucked their cards back in their clothes, and Russell asked the three guild receptionists, "Also, do you know about the Bus Driver Hero and who that person was?"
"Yes, but not who that person was," replied one of the three receptionists.
Russell then smiled a bit without pride. "That person would be me."
Jan and the guild receptionists were shocked to hear that, and Jan, having heard about the heroic deeds of the Bus Driver Hero before, commented, "You're that Bus Driver Hero?"
"Yup!" Russell happily replied back. "That'll be me."
"Wow, it's amazing that you managed to use your vehicle for noble deeds," another guild receptionist commented with enthusiastic admiration.
Russell felt a bit flustered by her compliment. "Yeah, I just do what I need to do, you know…"
"Still, you're so amazing…" Jan responded back with bright positivity. "By the way, since your bus's driver's seat was on the left, are you from the Philippines in your previous life?"
"Yes," answered Russell back nicely. "My former name in that life is Benjamin Taklaw of the Bicol Region."
Jan was more amazed than ever. "Woah, so we're the same."
(What Jan meant is that he and Russell were citizens of the same country, the Philippines, in their previous lives.)
"Yup, and you back then?" Russell responded back.
"Oh! I am from Quezon City, Metro Manila," replied Jan back.
"Wow, taga- Labo, Camarines Norte po ako (I am from Labo, Camarines Norte in Tagalog)!" Russell replied back happily. "Taga Labo ako sa Camarines Norte (The same line, this time in Bikolano)!"
"Wow, nice one!"
Both Russell and Jan were happy to each other as the others around them were happy for them.
