Third person POV
Seeing how Russell was so capable of repairing and driving his bus, Janet thought, "Wow, Russell is very good at this line of job despite his age…" She then smiled in positivity for him. Later after that, back at her home, Janet showed Russell and his friends their room for the night, which is a guest room in her home. "Here, you may stay here for the night."
The room was cozy, and it contains every essential thing for a guest in a house like Janet's.
Russell, Azalea, and John were delighted by it and accepted it, much to Janet's delight.
So, the May Party went in and unloaded their sizeable and light amount of stuff. And then, as Russell and his friends did so, Janet noticed Russell's sword in its scabbard, alongside a metal door from one of his bus's baggage compartments. "Hey, are you a swordsman, too?" she asked him. "And what's with that metal door?"
Russell heard that and finished unloading his belongings, before looking at her. "Yes, I am, but I am an exempted free adventurer who had a party of my own. That party is called the May Party. That sword is mine, so I am a swordsman, too."
"Yes, Russell-kun is," Azalea added positively.
John then nodded before settling down on a rug to rest up.
"Oh…" Janet gets it.
"And also," Russell added as well, "that metal door is my shield, too."
Janet was shocked and dumbfounded at the same time. "W-What? Is that even resilient enough against enemies and monsters?"
"Well…I once used that to fling a Flaming Phoenix."
"Eh?!"
"And also, using that to knock my enemies out a couple of times."
"EH?!"
"Oh, I forgot to mention, my bus's windshield wipers are very resilient and are very good tools as backup weapons in combat, too.
"EH??!!"
Janet's mind was like, "This guy is so insane! It seems that this guy had become so overpowered!"
Then, at 5:21 p.m., Janet took Russell and his friends into the afternoon market streets of Garion City, where food and shop stalls gathered, turned on their lights, and opened for business at this time of day. It was a crowded one, and that street was always called Bazaar Avenue by residents and tourists alike. While walking with Janet, Russell and his friends were amazed, despite Russell having made many trips to this city. But those took place during the day before 4 p.m. in the afternoon. Azalea marveled at the wide selection of food and products, wondering about shopping with Russell together, just the two of them. But she couldn't show that face to her Renad friend, so she hid it.
Later on, all of them bought some cheap, hot, and crispy foods, especially some fried chicken skins and some deep-fried squid from Marewell Town's Bay. John got some of the fried chicken skins for himself, too. Russell tasted those foods delightfully and with enthusiasm. Azalea had the same feeling upon seeing some of hers. All of them eventually sat down on a wooden set of a table and chairs to eat their meal properly. Russell planned to buy some pasalubong for his friends back at his place. At this time, Nathan went back to his hometown Marewell Town, while Kelly and her twin daughters remained at Russell's home taking care of it with Quinn.
But for now, in this place in Garion City, Russell and his group are having a fun time in their lives. The Bazaar Avenue was eventually accompanied by music and dancing, in which Janet made Russell and Azalea dance with the other folks of the city, much to their chagrin and embarrassment. But Russell and Azalea did so to have fun, and John was chagrined by it for a bit as Janet applauded their dance performance. But meanwhile, a young man, in commoner's clothes and holding a toolbox for plumbing, was looking at them with stunning, seeing Russell in his bus driver's uniform.
"Is that youngster a bus driver?" his mind asked with a British accent, hinting that the person might be a reincarnated British person.
That person then left the scene because he was tired for today.
Who was that person?
