Third person POV
Shortly after that, Russell said to his party and group, "Okay, guys, let's go." His party and group then grabbed their belongings and stood up. John woke up from his slumber and came out, jumping into Russell's arms. Russell caught him, and they and their group got off. Cassius, who was behind them the whole time, then got off his horse. The royal spy and his friends then went to the Emerald Guild.
There all of them entered in and walked to the receptionist desk, where Denali and Eloni are engaging in a conversation.
"Hi there!" Russell brightly greeted them.
Both the father and daughter heard that and looked at him and the others.
"Oh, Russell-kun, welcome back," Denali greeted him back positively. "How's the quest?"
"It went really great," Azalea responded.
Russell nodded.
And then, Nathan came forward and pulled his photos of yesterday's quest, showing them to Denali and Eloni as proof. "Greetings, here are proof of our hard work." Denali and Eloni then looked at them and were stunned at the photos' moments of battles against the monsters in Hadrianwood's forests.
"Woah…"
"Are those for real?"
"Yes, these are for real," Russell confidently responded back.
Denali was amazed, looking at Nathan. "How can you do that?"
Then, Nathan, Russell, and Adrian explained to her about Nathan's Primary Novel ability, as well as his Secondary Ability.
A minute later, Denali and Eloni now knew Nathan's abilities and were impressed by it.
Eloni knew that Nathan is a Renad, and Nathan confirmed it.
And so, Denali gave the May party their reward, which is the promised rewards according to the quest.
Russell and his party accepted it, and Nathan and the dragon family, though receiving compliments from Denali and Eloni, were content of not receiving a share of the reward.
And then, some members of the guild, including the same elf adventurer and the human who is a healer, noticed the photos and gathered around them, asking them about them. Then, Nathan showed them those photos to them. Those members looked at them and were amazed. Nathan happily explained, "I am a Renad, and my Primary Novel ability is Photography."
The members were amazed.
The elf adventurer looked at the May party and was very amazed at their teamwork and strength.
The human who is a healer felt some inspiration from them, especially from Russell and Adrian.
And then, as the members around them complimented the May party's achievement and success, the Elai party came to the scene, seeing Russell and his party and group from a distance. That party now felt envious and jealous of them after seeing that many of the guild members are complimenting them. But then, Nathan noticed her from the distance and thinking that she looked beautiful, used his ability to take a quick and silent picture of her. Even though she didn't caught Nathan taking a photo of her, Elain and her party stormed off and went to their rooms in the guild's sleeping quarters. And then, the members around Russell and the others then gave them their last compliments and thumbs-up and went back to do their own thing.
After that, a paper, glossy photo of his recent take appeared in front of him. Nathan grabbed it and was enamored and amazed by Elai's looks on it. Then, the young photographer looked at Russell and show ted him the photo. "This woman looks cool. Do you know her?" Russell looked at it and said to him with a cold expression. "Yes, and she is not a good person, just a façade of her true hero character."
"Wait, what?" Nathan asked with confusion. "Why?"
Adrian then revealed to him what she and her party did to him in the past.
A minute later, Nathan was shocked, and Russell and John confirmed that with their eyewitness accounts.
"Wow, she is a hero, by occupation?" Nathan asked.
"Yes," answered Russell back.
"And she had the audacity to do something so atrocious to Adrian?"
Nathan said that with a heavy Spanish accent.
"Yes," Russell replied back.
Because of that, Nathan regretted taking a picture of Elai.
"Yeah, you know what they say, "Looks can be deceiving"," Russell responded back while patting Nathan's right shoulder for a few seconds.
But Nathan kept the photo for himself, tucking it into the lone pocket of his peasant's clothes.
