It's 6 pm and I am entering the house. It is pretty late for me but my mom told me to come home this late as she has to go to her sister's house for a chit-chat session so she said I can spend time with my friends in the meantime. As I entered the house, I could not see anything because of the darkness, it seemed like mom had not come yet. And suddenly I heard a loud sound of a bursting balloon and lights went on with the sight of my parents and my younger sister Nysa giving me a surprise birthday celebration. They screamed "Happy Birthday Meera" in one go and there came Rohit and Alaya together entering from the door and said "A very Happy Birthday Meera". We made a group hug, my eyes were in tears after seeing all this. But Alaya whispered in my ears your Birthday present is still coming. And then I saw so much of food on the dining table and asked mom for whom she has prepared this much of food, Are any of our relatives also comin…before i could even complete my sentence the doorbell rang with a ting-tong and my whole class was there in front of me including Shyna and Aryan. Seeing him I got nervous and stiff but controlling my emotions so hard, I greeted all of them and they all wished me. My nervousness level was increasing as his turn was coming but Shyna wished me on his behalf and said Happy Birthday Meera from me and Aryans behalf. He did not even glance at me, SAD. Manya my classmate told me that your mom invited the class to your birthday as they wanted you to have a beautiful memory of your last birthday of your school life and we all thought it was a great idea to socialise with you. I was so touched with her words and saw my parents so thankfully trying to say "I Love You mom and dad" with my eyes. Mom told me to go into my room and change my clothes. I went to my room to see a beautiful blue Cindrella dress. Wow, so beautiful and elegant and the flairs on the gown gives it a proper princess touch. Alaya helped me with the makeup and hair. When I saw myself in the ear I could not believe It was me. The dress, the hair and the makeup and the magic of Alaya's hands all made me look so pretty that I could not even recognise myself. The party was going, and I was able to talk to each and every student in my class. As the party was going, even though I was physically there, my eyes were just looking for Aryan. Man !!! He looked so handsome, focusing on his phone, curly hair, loose white shirt, black jeans, black shoes and a silver chain with an "A" letter written in calligraphy style. It seems like an Angel fallen on Earth.
And suddenly he stood up, excused Shyna and asked my mom, "Ma'am where is the washroom". My mom directed him to the Washroom present inside my room, as the one outside was under repair. Man, I thought it's the best time to tell him my name but could not even move because of nervousness and anxiety. Alaya and Rohit saw the whole scene and pushed me to the room. Rohit said "All the Best bro" with winking eyes.
