The man Cassandra lost, wasn't a mere friend, he was the love of her life. Because of the excessive agony she could barely breathe but still now, nobody knew about her sorrow. Not even her parents, her sister, friends and the man with whom she got married later. Her heart was a perfect graveyard where she kept all of her pain hidden. Tears rolled from both of their eyes.
Alexandra embraced her and slowly rubbed the upper part of her back to provide some solace to her. She knew the loss Cassandra faced in her early life nothing could compensate her. Alexandra was happy that at least she was such a reliable person to her that she shared her pain with her.
"You're the greatest warrior I'll always be proud of Granny." Alexandra said confidently. Cassandra looked at her and sighed.
