Ever since the ancient times, there has been various beliefs and theories over multiple subjects, gravity, space, air, water, they were all once the subject of those. Most of these ended up understood by humans, but some didn't.
One of these unresolved mysteries is also one that might never be resolved, our existence. To be more precise, the existence of the universe is the target of this 'how' and 'why'. It is said that it has been existing forever and will continue to do so infinitely without stopping. It also has no end and is impossible to destruct or at least, that's what the legends say.
Over time, civilizations have had differents beliefs over it's creation, some say it was the god, others the devil. Some people even say that it was a cooperation between both of them. Although partly true, the actual event depended on, not one, nor two, but three people.
But even then, no one could have imagined that the missing person in the imaginations of the devout worshippers had not only had the most important part in the ritual, but had also disapeared in the exact moment the universe appeared, never leaving any traces of a successor behind.
That is, up until now.
---------------------------
11:59 pm, december 31st, year 1999 in a hospital on the south-eastern coast of the United-States, near the border of Mexico.
Doctors were rapidly walking in the small building, each minding their own business and doing their work.
A woman's shout could be clearly heard from the outside of a room, a delivery room. The woman looked pretty normal and would have been probably ignored by bypassers on the road, but right now, no one could.
All of the personnal walking by had to stop for a couple of seconds to stare at the event happening in front of them and they probably would have kept staring if it wasn't for a nurse taking care of sending them back to work.
The woman's belly was huge, way more than it should have been for a pregnant lady. It was about 2 or 3 times the usual size. But even though the size of the belly would have made people think the baby was big, it was actually about half of the size of a normal baby, something really was wrong with this situation.
But if you were to tell people that this sort of birth would have a 50% chance of happening in the future, no one would believe it.
The baby had a sort of semi-transparent glow a certain range around his body and that glow was what made the belly of the mother seem so big despite the size of the small child.
That child had been the first ever human to wield magic as a mage.
At the same time, in seoul, south korea, another similar event was happening, but unlike the glowing baby and seemingly magical feeling coming from the previous child, this baby had twice the size of a normal child and already had small but bulging muscles underneath his skin. The mother's belly had only been about half the size of a normal one and it had been estimated that the children might have an extremely weak physique.
This was the first child born having internal energy and using it as a martial artist.
Those births became less and less uncommon, until everyone, humans and animals alike, never once gave birth to normal babys again.
Because of that, the civilized society and the wild beasts started war on each other, since the animals were able to gain intelligence due to the 2 different energies appearing all around the world. Humanity had a hard time dealing with the situation, since they had a slower growth than animals, they had more trouble getting stronger alongside time, the only advantage they had, was early intelligence, allowing them to understand the powers coursing through their bodys faster than their enemys. And so, humans gained more and more power throughout time as they developped faster and faster.
But the same could be said for the beasts. Once they reached a certain point in strenght, all of their knowledge would be passed on to their offsprings, meaning that if not taken care of, the wild creatures would surpass humans in knowledge easily.
Fortunately, different families were able to devellop advanced ways of getting stronger and different techniques to use their powers, making them able to push back the monsters who took over a good part of lands.
But even then, there was way too many beasts compared to humans and the stronger ones were hidden in the depths of their territories.
But that wasn't all.
100 years later, portals started appearing, leading to places now called dungeons. Those dungeons, controlled by various gods, also called dungeon masters, were quite special and ended up contributing quite a lot in both humanity's and the beast's devellopment, despite the danger from them.
The dungeons had the special feature of having waves of monsters come out every certain amounts of time if they were not cleared in time. But, if someone was strong enough to attain the challenge given to you by the dungeon master, you would receive unfatomable rewards, ranging from weapons, armors, skills and even pure power. The dungeon masters became source of various new religions, people blessed by them were called believers.
Over time, the human civilization evolved alongside the new appearances, there was now lots of different technologies and discoveries that would have been unbelievable before year 2000.
It is now year 2190, and this story will follow a young boy named Dyrus, Dyrus Neutralis.
