Stevonnie: Tch, I know there must be some other way. *turns to Peridot* Do you have any idea?
Peridot: Hmm, how about we talk to her?
Stevonnie: I know that. But as long as Lapis is in that form, I don't think she wants to listen to us.
Peridot: Let's try to show her then.
Stevonnie: What do you mean?
Peridot: I have stored my tablet in my gem, with it I took many pictures of our life on earth. If we show her that, she might remember who she is.
Stevonnie: Even so, we would've to get pretty close to show them to her, and that's very dangerous.
Peridot: No need to get close.
Stevonnie: Why not!?
Peridot: I can transfer the pictures from my tablet to the limb enhancers and project a giant hologram of the picture so she can see it from afar.
Stevonnie: I see. Do that then!
Peridot: However, the transfer will take a long time.
Stevonnie: It doesn't matter, just do it!
[Meanwhile.]
[Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl fuse into Alexandrite.]
Lapis: *looking around for them* Damn it! Where are those traitorous clods hiding?
[Alexandrite appears behind the Lapis' giant water clone.]
Alexandrite: Hey, over here!
Lapis: *turns around* You fused, huh?
Alexandrite: *roars* We don't have to fight, I don't want to hurt you!
Lapis: Too bad, because I can't wait to tear you Gems apart!
Alexandrite: Oh please, you're outnumbered.
Lapis: Am I outnumbered? You sure about that?
[The whole area begins to rumble and shake as a large amount of water gushes out of the ground, destroying much of the site.]
Lapis: I suggest you look around before you speak.
Alexandrite: Hm? *looks around*
[All the gushing water forms three giant Lapis-shaped water clones.]
Alexandrite: I see. Four-on-one, huh? It's not fair.
Lapis: I'm the one who should be complaining about that. I only have one gem in my body, unlike you, who have four. But of course, you think it's unfair because you're one entity; from your perspective, you're outnumbered, but from mine, we're four-on-four... Well, not exactly. I'm still one Gem, I just made four water clones in my image and... I think you get the point, don't you?
Alexandrite: I do.
Lapis: Good, because I find it fair enough. But if you want to make it even fairer, unfuse and go back to being four individuals Gems so that each one takes on a water clone.
Alexandrite: No way, that's not going to happen.
Lapis: Then don't complain. If I wanted to, I could easily make a whole army of water clones.
Alexandrite: ... I'm beginning to think Stevonnie was right. Anyway. I've just got to focus on the main water clone, which is the one Lapis is in.
Lapis: Ha! You're out of your depth.
[Lapis' four water clones make and hurl a lot of water balls at Alexandrite, she destroys some of them and charges at the main water clone, Lapis dodges her and suddenly the whole area begins to shake and rumble again.]
Alexandrite: Now what? *looks down* W-what the--?!!
[The ground Alexandrite is standing on begins to crack and a giant ice spike made by Lapis pop out of the ground in order to impale Alexandrite, she moved out of the way just in time, but the spike managed to graze her slightly.]
Alexandrite: *surprised* Wh-what was that?!
Lapis: You're fast, but...
[Lapis's four water clones swiftly surround Alexandrite and throw several punches at her, which she dodges with difficulty.]
Alexandrite: Dammit all!
[Alexandrite does her best to fight back, she manages to land a couple of blows on the water clones, though causing no damage.]
Alexandrite: Fuck, it's just water, so why does it feel like hitting concrete?!
[Alexandrite wonders as she shakes her hands in pain.]
Lapis: Haven't you realized yet? The pressures caused by breaking the surface at high speed and with great force is what makes water act more like a solid, non-moving surface, i.e the water doesn't have time to "move out of the way", that's why it actually feels like concrete.
Alexandrite: So melee attacks are useless against water, huh? In that case...
[Alexandrite takes a big leap back.]
Lapis: Hey! Don't run away!!
[Lapis forms several ice stakes from some water balls and immediately throws them at Alexandrite.]
Alexandrite: Let's try long range now!
[Alexandrite summons both Amethyst's whip and Pearl's spear, and combines them into a large bow. She draws back the bow, generating an energy arrow and fires it at the ice stakes, destroying them all.]
Lapis: Oh well...
[Alexandrite then fires a barrage of energy arrows at Lapis and his water clones.]
Lapis: Interesting.
[Lapis, for her part, seems unconcerned by the barrage of arrows approaching her, as if she has no intention of dodging.]
Lapis: ...
[The energy arrows hit right on target. Causing no damage, though.]
Alexandrite: *shocked* It-it can't be!
[Lapis' water clones now wear solid ice armor, which she made at the last minute to protect herself from Alexandrite's energy arrows, as they could pass right through the water and damage her body.]
Lapis: Ha! Shame on you, I didn't even have to dodge! As you have seen before, I can control water in all its states.
[Then the ice armor comes off each water clone.]
Lapis: It does not pose any problem for me.
Alexandrite: Damn it, how am I supposed to fight that?! There's no way I can win, both long and close range attacks are useless!
Lapis: Too bad for you, because against you they're quite useful!
[Lapis' four water clones form a water bow and arrow similar to Opal's.]
Lapis: Think fast!
[Lapis's four water clones fire a barrage of water arrows at Alexandrite, she didn't have time to react and dodge in time, so she ends up getting hit full on.]
Alexandrite: *in pain* GAAAHH!!
[Alexandrite drops to her knees.]
Alexandrite: That... hurt... pretty bad. *stands up* I-I-I didn't expect it to hurt so much.
Lapis: I can see you're hungry for more, aren't ya!?
[Lapis' four water clones fire another barrage of water arrows at Alexandrite.]
Alexandrite: Grrr...
[This time Alexandrite jumps up into the air as high as she can to dodge all the arrows.]
Lapis: Ha! You lack the ability to fly, so you won't be able to dodge in mid-air!
[Lapis' four water clones fire a barrage of water arrows at Alexandrite as she hovers in mid-air.]
Alexandrite: I'm aware of that!
[Alexandrite summons Sardonyx's hammer and twirls it to ward off arrows.]
Alexandrite: Phew! That was a close call! Now...
[Alexandrite dives from the sky towards Lapis's main water clone.]
Lapis: What the--?!
Alexandrite: I must find a way to get her away from the water!
Lapis: No, you won't!
