Four hundred years later, Neil didn't know where he was or who he was with, he looked around and saw three men standing to the left of him and a elderly couple sitting to the right. Then he was suddenly pushed off his seat not knowing he was sitting on some girl's lap. "What's your problem?''the man who pushed him off said. Neil just looked confused,"c'mon let's teach him not to play with us"the man shouted to the other three men. "Yeah teach him a lesson"said the girl in the chair,as the three men approached him the first one tried kicking him in the face but it was caught with one hand. Neil stared at it for a second, still confused, then through the man's foot in the air, the man fell on the floor, pulled out a knife and got back up. "You should've just stayed put, now I won't go easy on you", said the man. "Oww you then messed up now"one of the 3 men said in the background. The man then tried swinging his knife at Neil, but he dogged it while he was still on the floor and side kicked the man in the stomach. The man went flying and crashed against the wall, he wasn't getting up anytime soon. "This guys crazy," said one of the three men,"let's gang up on him", said another one while pulling out a knife. All three of them had knives and one had two. Two of the men charged at him with their knives and swung, but he jumped in the air and on their shoulders then split and kicked both of them at the same time in the head. Both of their necks broke and they slowly fell to the floor. The last man was frozen in fear and dropped his knife,he slowly walked up to the man and looked him in the eyes. Without any words being said the man fainted on the floor, to the rest of the subway they were just staring at each other but the man saw thousands of demons trying to grab at him in a dark void.
The subway then stops and he walks out, leaves the area and looks around. It was night time and He sees things he'd never seen before like roads and cars in a big city", this must be the future", he says.
Ten years later there was another boy named Rae, fourteen years old. He was watching the news at around nine o'clock at night and it said someone broke into a museum and took a civilian hostage. So he called his friend Rihanna, also fourteen and told her"we got a mission at the museum, are you watching the news."Yup on my way over"she replied. "Make sure you're masked up", he said. "Ik" she replied.
Rihanna snuck into Rae's apartment wearing purple leggings, a purple long sleeve shirt and a purple mask. Rae was also suited up wearing a red mask, a long sleeve red shirt and red sweatpants. He grabbed two flashlights, a baseball bat and a taser. "You ready" he said "now i am"she said while grabbing the taser.
They then went outside and caught a cab to the gas station next to the museum. "Is it halloween or do you guys have some type of fetish", said the cab driver."Uh um"Rae and Rihanna both said awkwardly then looked away from each other. After that they sat in silence for a while. "Well we're here, go get your candy or whatever"said the cab driver.
"Alright the police are already inside, let's go before they catch him first"said Rae. They walked in through a broken window and there was glass everywhere. They walked around for a little and found a dead police officer on the floor, he was shot in the chest. In the distance they could hear two men talking", you got the diamond"said one"yeah lets get outta here"said the other one. The two men started approaching where Rae and Rihanna were. They both quickly hid behind different podiums. The men walked by without noticing them, until Rihanna sneezed. The sneeze alerted the men and they turned around and one of them started approaching the podium slowly with a gun, but he was hit with a flashlight in the head by Rae. Then before he could react he was tased by Rihanna, he fell on the floor twitching. Then the other one started shooting at both of them but Rihanna tucked and rolled behind Rae's podium. "Who are you, don't tell me you're that hero everyones talking about", said the man. "Nope, but we're here to save the day, do it now"said Rae. Then Rihanna turned on the taser, faced it upwards and stuck her finger in it shooting electricity at the man. The man fell on the floor shouting and started twitching on the floor. "Yes I did it, and it was my first try", said Rihanna. Alright let's go before more police show up, but the other man wasn't finished yet and picked up his gun aimed at Rae and pulled the trigger.
But in an instant they were moved out the way by someone extremely fast. "Stay right here", he said. Rae looked a little closer and he could make out his white outfit", it's The Laser beam"said Rae. Laser beam quickly ran up behind the man and took his gun. Then punched him in the back of the head knocking him out. He dropped the gun and started heroically walking up to the kids in slow motion,"It's really him"said Rihanna. "So cool,"said Rae, but when Laser beam got to them he started yelling", what are you two doing here you could have been killed.""were heroes were here to help"said Rae. "You're not heroes, all you're doing is getting in the way", said Laser beam. "We know what we're doing, we almost won", said Rae. "Key word almost, if i wasn't here to save you you wouldn't have made it back home"said Laser beam. "Yeah we made a mistake but next time we'll do everything right"said Rae. "There won't be a next time, go home", said Laser beam. There was a tear in Rae's eye "I can be just as strong as you, just watch me you don't know what youre talking about"said Rae. Lets just go already said Rihanna.
Rae and Rihanna left and walked to the sidewalk and caught another cab. "So you guys into cosplay,"said the new cab driver. Rae and Rihanna didn't say anything and looked away from each other again. It was another quiet car ride. "Well we're here, don't get too freaky tonight"said the cab driver while laughing. They got out of the car with their heads down"i'll be the greatest hero ever, way better than stupid Laser beam"said rae. Rihanna grabbed his hand and said"me too."meet me at that abandoned park tomorrow at two, we're gonna train all day ok"said Rae. Alright said Rihanna and they both went their separate ways.
The next day they both skipped school and met at the abandoned park,"alright how do we start"said Rihanna. I brought the taser and some cans so you can practice your electro shot and my bat so I can practice too"said Rae. "Alright gimme the cans"said Rihanna. Rihanna stacked the cans on a bench and used the taser as an electric current to charge up her move, and shot all the cans one by one. Rae didn't have any powers so Rihanna just threw the broken cans at him while he tried to hit them with his baseball bat when she was finished. When she was done she was able to hit three cans at a time with just one charge.
The next day they came back to the park and this time RIhanna decided to shoot from farther away, about three times as far. She aimed in and took a deep breath thinking she could do it, but when she shot she completely missed, the charge only went half way there. She tried again and got the same results, only half way. While she was practicing Rae brought a punching bag and gloves with padding on the knuckles, including his baseball bat. He hung up the punching bag on a tree nearby and began punching, kicking and swinging his bat at it. Rihanna looked over at him and saw him hitting the bag in ways she's never seen before", looks like he's serious about surpassing the Laser beam"she said.
They ended up staying there until about eleven o'clock that day. Rihanna still couldn't hit her target from that far away. Rae walked over and saw Rihanna struggling and said "you need some help "."Maybe", she said. Then Rae walked behind her, grabbed her arms and aimed at the cans with the taser. "You have to concentrate, just breathe and focus all your energy on the taser".Then he walked over and sat criss cross applesauce in the middle of her and and the cans."What are you doing"said Rihanna."If you dont shoot far enough the electricity will hit me so now you have to hit over my head and hit the can. "I can't", Rihanna said in a whiny voice". I know you can", said Rae. Rihanna sighed "Ok i'll try"she said. She closed her eyes and focused all your energy on the taser. If I shoot too hard I still might hit Rae in the head, but if i dont shoot hard enough it'll still hit him. "Go all out Rihanna"said Rae. Rihanna quickly opened her eyes aimed at the can, charged a little more and shot over Rae's head and hit the can along with the whole bench. "Never doing that again", said Rae. "Alright, let's go home now", said RIhanna.
The next day they both went to school, Rihanna met Rae at his locker."Let's go Rae we're gonna be late"said Rihanna. Rae was checking the radio he stole from a police officer.``yeah i'm coming"he said while clearly not listening.''put that down we're not superheroes today, today were just normal students at Ridgeville high. She said while throwing it back into his locker. "But what if something comes up", he said while putting it in his backpack. They began walking to class", if we're gonna surpass the Laser beam we half to be on top of this at all times"he said. "But what's the point of surpassing the Laser beam if you don't pass the ninth grade? I can manage that too,"said rae. "Not if you keep playing around with that Radio, now meet me behind the stairs at lunch time i gotta show you something", she said while walking away."Uh ok"Rae said quietly.
While Rae was sleeping in class a kid shot him with a piece of paper covered in spit out of a straw waking him up. He looked around to see who it was then he got shot again and there was a kid aiming it at him laughing. At that moment the bell rang and he got up and walked away. Rihanna told him to meet her behind the staircase at lunchtime so that's where he was going While turning on his radio. He walked behind the stairs and didn't see Rihanna then he suddenly got shocked". Ahh" Rae shouted. He turned around and saw Rihanna",what,why'd you bring the taser to school"said Rae.``I didn't, that was my little pinky",said Rihanna."Oh yeah I have the taser, wait then how did your pinky just shock me"said Rae."I can use electricity without the taser now"Rihanna said while holding up her electric finger."wow"said Rae."I can even control how much comes out"said Rihanna. At that moment Rae's radio went off and said "we've got an armed robbery at the gas station in Ridgeville."It's time to test it out"said Rihanna."That's right down the street, let's go"said Rae.
They both ran outside,"did you bring your suit?" said Rihanna."Of Course i did", said Rae."Where are we gonna change?"said Rihanna."You're right, let's go back to the school", said Rae. They both turned around and went back to the school and changed into their costumes."Alright now we're ready",said Rihanna. They both quickly ran to the gas station and saw two cop cars outside. Both the cops were yelling"come outside with your hands up."How do we get inside"said Rihanna."Just follow my lead"said Rae they walked over to the police and the cops started shouting"get back it's dangerous over there."But Rae said in a deep voice its ok we work for Laser beam we can handle this". Laser beam? he's the real deal why didn't he just come"said the cop. "He did, but these guys shouldn't have", said Laser beam while walking up to them. "Didn't I tell you guys to stay out of trouble?"he said. "We know what we're doing, we were just about to stop these guys",said Rae. No you dont you were almost killed last time, you're not cut out for being superheroes,you need to leave and stick to studying like normal kids", said Laser beam. You don't know what you're talking about, I can do anything you can",Rae screamed. "Alright then show me what you can do", said Laser beam.
Rae grips his bat and swings at Laser beam without a second thought, but Laser beam leans back and dodges, so Rae keeps swinging his bat but nothing seems to hit him. "You're never gonna be a hero if this is all you've got, I need you to swing harder, faster", said Laser beam. Rae started getting faster but Laser beams reflexes were too fast, so he backed up and threw his bat at the laser beam but he barely caught it with two hands. Little did he know Rae was charging at him head first,but Laser beam jumps over him and does a backflip at the last second and lands on his feet. Rae falls and Laser beam says"and that is why you will be going home today". In that moment behind them the cops were shouting "there getting away"while shooting at the car going down the street.
"Exactly why you guys shouldn't be here"Laser beam says as he gets in his car. He turns on the radio and says "alright time to go."The music was so loud he didn't even hear Rihanna talking to him in the backseat. She didn't like the song so she changed it using the radio. "What! How did you get in here?"Laser beam says while turning the music down. "I opened the door. How else do you think I got in here?"said rihanna. Laser beam sighs,"nope i'm taking you home,it's too dangerous,you guys aren't even supposed to be here",said Laser beam. "Wait no i can help i have powers too", said Rihanna. "I'll believe it when i see it i'm turning around"said Laser beam. Then Rihanna shocked him,Laser beam screamed and said"what was that, did you do that", so she shocked him again. "Ahh, Wait if that was you that means"Laser beam says while staring at her. At that moment they were blasted by some type of ray beam pushing the car sideways and stopping it.
"Damnit what was that? You ok,"said Laser beam. Rihanna was just looking out the window at the truck with the two back doors opened and two men in the back of it one holding a ray gun. She also noticed that the man with the ray gun looked familiar. Hello, are you ok", said Laser beam. "Oh yeah I'm fine"said Rihanna. "They got away", said Laser beam as they turned the corner. "Alright i'll take you guys home"said Laser beam, but when he tries to start his car it doesn't work. "Damnit the engines fried"he says as he gets out of the car. "It's ok I can walk, we're not too far from the school. We'll just take the bus back home."Rihanna walked back to where they were and saw Rae still sitting in the same place where he lost to Laser beam. "It's ok you'll get 'em next time"said Rihanna while patting him on the shoulder. She Reached out her hand to help him up"I've already found a way you can prove yourself, just meet me at O Station tech by nine O,clock",she said. "Station tech? How would we even get inside",said Rae. "you'll see when we get there",said Rihanna. Whatever you say",said Rae. "But first we have to get back to school before we miss the bus, so get up and let's go, we don't have time for pouting", said Rihanna. Rae grabs her hand, stands back up and they go back to school.
Later that day at 9:00 Rae went to Station tech to meet Rihanna. He walks up to the gate and tries to open it but the gate is locked. "Where is she? I can't even get inside", said Rae. He pulls out his phone and calls Rihanna, it rings twice then goes to voicemail. "What is she doing? How is she late to her own meeting", said Rae. in that moment he gets hit in the head with a pebble. He looks around scared and says "what was that? Is this some type of power, you must be invisible," Then he hears a voice in the bushes. "Over here stupid.""A bush! You must be a shapeshifter", said Rae. No! Are you dumb, it's Rihanna, just get over here", said Rihanna. Oh Rihnna? When did you get there? "Said Rae while walking over to the bush. As Rae walks over Rihanna pulls Rae into the bush and says''hurry up he could be here any second now".
"Who's gonna be here any second now", said Rae. The man from the robbery", said Rihanna. At that moment a nice car pulled up to the gate and opened it. "Quick this is our chance"Rihanna says while pulling Rae by the arm. The car pulls into the parking lot and when the man gets out RIhanna says, "it's him.""And who is he? "said Rae. Keep up, the man from the robbery", said Rihanna. "And how do you know the man from the robbery", said Rae. "He's one of my dads coworkers, they work for O Station tech. And apparently they've been working on some dangerous stuff", said Rihanna. "Really so is your dad a part of it too", said Rae. "I don't know but we can try to get the answer out of this guy", said Rihanna. "How are we gonna do that?"said Rae. I'll shock him", siad Rihanna while holding up her electric finger.
They followed the man up the stairs down the halls until they got to his office. When they looked through the window of his office they saw him pull out a folder with multiple pieces of paper in it. Then the man got a phone call and picked it up. They could hear their muffled conversation through the window. "Did you get number 186? "said the man on the phone. "Yeah, he's being sent to shadow right now", Said the man "Good, now you just have three more in this city", said the man on the phone. "And who is that? "said the man. The Laser beam, a little girl and you know who the last one is", said the man on the phone. "Alright when do I start", said the man. RIght now, you should be able to beat the little girl on your own, but I'm sending the witch to help you with the other two", said the man on the phone. "I understand", said the man while hanging up the phone.
The man started walking to the door to leave his office, so they hid behind a counter in the distance just in time. The man walks out of the office and just stands there for a while. "Rihanna, are you stalking me? '', said the man. They paused Karl, I didn't know you were a robber", said Rihanna from behind the counter. What's the point if you work at a fancy place like this? "She said. You're missing the point, it wasn't for the money, I'm just doing my job", said Karl. Your job? Is that what you and your friend were talking about on the phone a second ago", said Rihanna. We were talking about the future of the world, and how everything will change'', said Karl. What are you even talking about, doesn't even matter, how did you even know I was here in the first place", said Rihanna. "As soon as I pulled up, "you guys are really loud, it was hard not to find you' ', said Karl.
"Well I was looking for you anyways thanks for making my job easier", he said. "You're wrong if you think this is going to be easy we'll take you down no problem", Rihanna said while charging electricity in her hand. Rae grabbed a glass beaker from inside of the cabinet next to him and nodded at Rihanna. "Tell us who you were talking to and why you're committing crimes", Rihanna said. "Now what would be the point of that, you're both about to die anyway", Karl said while laughing. Then Rae throws the glass beaker at Karl distracting him as Rihanna stands up and shoots him with an "electric shock!" Karl screams "ahh" and falls to the ground. "Yes! We did it!" Said Rihanna. "That was easier than expected", said Rae. And he was talking so tuff,"thanks for making my job easier""Rihanna says mocking him.
At that moment Rae sees Karl transform into a cyborg and charge up a beam. In an instant Rae tackles Rihanna behind the desk"take cover!" He screams. A precise beam almost hits Rihanna but she's saved in the nick of time. The beam completely obliterated a portion of the counter. They both stare in each other's eyes as Raes on top of her. RIhanna blushes and Rae gets off of her. Karl continues to blast them with energy beams at the same time but these ones aren't as powerful. I "Now what do we do", said Rae. "We gotta find a way out of here", said Rihanna. "There's nowhere to run, you'll die here, might as well say your last words to each other", said Karl. Rae grabbed two glass beakers one with purple one with blue liquid in it and grabbed Rihanna's hand, "on a count of three we run out the back door ok:, he said. Rihanna nodded. Rae mixed the two liquids together and through it at Karl.
"Three!" Rae said, and they both started running full speed at the door. The liquids exploded in Karls face giving them time to run, but right before they made it to the door Rihanna trips. C'mon Rihanna", says Rae. "Time to die", says Karl as he shoots a beam while on his knees, but right before it hits her she's in the arms of The Laser beam. "Huh? Laser beam, but how'd you know I was here",said Rihanna. "I put a tracker on you because I knew you'd do something stupid and I was right", said Laser beam. "Alright now it's time for you to clean up this mess", said Rihanna. Take this seriously, this is your life we're talking about. It's the second time I've had to save you guys like this. If this keeps up you'll surely die soon, and i don't want that blood on my hands", said Laser beam. Rihanna almost cries,"but", she says. "Laser beam! Can you take him out!"Rae shouts. "Huh? Oh yeah", Laser beam says.
"Laser beam and Rihanna came straight to me, thanks for making my job so easy", Karl says while shooting more beams at Laser beam. Laser beam easily dodges all of the beams he shot at him while carrying Rihanna. "So you're quick", Karl says. Karl starts shooting beams through all ten of his fingers to counter Laser beams speed. Laser beam was still dodging all the beams so Karl grew more fingers and started shooting even faster. At that moment Rae hid behind the door and Laser beam through Rihanna in the air so he could dodge Karls attack by running across the room getting him to aim to the other side of the room. Once Karl stopped shooting he barely caught RIhanna before she hit the ground. Laser beam was moving so fast he slid when he hit the ground. "Watch out!" Rae shouted from behind the door.
Karl charged up a giant blast from his chest and shot it at Laser beam. The beam was too fast to dodge and he was holding Rihanna, so he only had one choice. He shot his own Laser beam back at Karl through his mouth, there beams connected and there was a giant flash of light. "Wow", said Rae. but after a few seconds Laser beams Laser overpowered Karls sending him flying through three walls and falling outside.
Laser beam walks through the broken walls and jumps down while carrying Rihanna. Rae climbs down the fire escape following Laser beam. "Who do you work for and why did they send you", said Laser beam aggressively. "Alright i'll tell you just dont hurt me. I work for a man who goes by shadow, Dark Lord, a god. Soon everything will change and there's no way to stop him. He's unbeatable, but that's not all, you have to get through the two generals whose power is also unmatched. They are targeting descendants of Ahara which means you must perish", said Karl. "Shadow? I think I've heard that name before. Some type of mob boss, he's never lost a fight ever, even against the toughest of killers, he's famous among the underground, but I'll take him out no problem",said Laser beam. "You don't know what type of power you're messing with", said Karl.
"Karl what happened to you, don't tell me you lost to the enemy already",said a monotone voice in the distance. Everyone turned their heads to the voice. "Miss witch it's you", said Karl. There was a girl dressed in all black, who looked about the same age as Rihanna. "Are you Rihanna veldon?"said the witch. "Maybe", Rihanna replied. "If so Please make this easy and come with me", said the witch. "And why would I do that?"said Rihanna. "I've been told to capture you along with Laser beam", said the witch. "Capturing me is the last thing you'll do, little lady", said Laser beam. "So you're not going to come willingly", said the witch. "Obviously not", said Laser beam.
"Then you leave me no choice", said the witch. Then she crossed her arms and said "Flame barrage". At that moment four balls of fire appeared out of nowhere surrounding all of them. Then she teleports next to Rihanna and says "hex box". When she said that a purple force field appeared around the two of them including Karl as the four flame balls crushed Laser beam and Rae. There was a huge explosion, as the smoke cleared Laser beam was right above Rae protecting him from the blast. "You should've been able to survive that right Laser beam, purple wip", said the witch. A large wip appeared in her hand and she began swinging it, hitting Laser beam in the back over and over again. "Rae run away!" said Laser beam in pain. "I can't just leave you guys here", said Rae. "There's nothing you can do here, you'll just die", said Laser beam. Rihanna now out of the hex box, tries to charge an electric shock to hit the witch. "Electric shock", she shouts, but the witch easily cancels the attack with one hand. "Hex beam" the witch says while shooting a purple beam out her finger at Rihanna's forehead knocking her unconscious. At a final attempt Laser beam closes his eyes and enters a different state of mind. Now to him everything is moving slower and his senses are completely heightened. Rae started running away while Laser beam quickly dodged the purple wip and tried shooting the witch with a laser beam using his right hand. As time speeds up the witch is confused from laser beams increase in speed. Right as the laser beam was about to hit her she said"cancel", and the laser beam disappeared. Laser beam just sat there in shock. "Hex beam", said the witch. A purple beam shot out her finger hitting Laser beam in the chest.
He falls down to the floor and Rae turns back around and screams "noo!" "Alright mission complete, oh you're still here I don't have to hold back on you so if you wanna fight be prepared to die", said the witch while floating into the sky with both hands raised with purple energy around them letting out immense aura all around her. Why are you taking them! Why can't you just leave us alone!", said Rae. "To change the world, you wouldn't understand you're just a weak pathetic creature and I'm here to put you down", said the witch. "But why does it mean you have to hurt people, I know deep down you don't wanna do that!", said Rae. "Whatever it takes", whispered the witch. "And what do you know about me! Flame barrage!", she yells. At that moment 20 balls of fire appeared in two rings and combined together creating a giant ball of flames heading straight for Rae. In Raes' head everything is silent. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath and remembers when his mom used to play catch with him when he was seven.
"Alright here it comes", his mom says. Rae catches the baseball easily. "Cmon mom you can throw harder than that", Rae says. "Is that a challenge", she says. "Yeah!", says Rae. "alright you asked for it", said his mom. His mom throws the ball with extreme force but Rae takes a deep breath in slow motion and catches it while the presser sends him backwards.
After that memory right before the fire ball hits him a beam of light shoots from the sky casting upon him, and Rae catches the fireball with two hands and begins to walk forward with it. "Ahhh! I won't let you take them away! Rae screams. The fireball launches back at the witch but right before it's about to hit her she says"cancel", and it disappears. The witch just stared at Rae standing there shining like the sun.
