"John, you keep her safe."
"I don't need you to tell me that," John replied looking sideways.
"Martha, thank you and I hope you forgive me."
Martha nodded and Ashirok took his last breath. As if on cue, The sword sank into his core and he slowly faded to nothing.
Ashirok smirked at her and gave her a wink before he became dust. He was looking forward to seeing her again. This time he would make things right.
The last of the demons faded away and the clouds parted ways to let light in.
"Maa… Who would have thought he was a big ole softie lover boy?" Naruto sighed, all the weariness catching up to him as he collapsed.
"As if you're one to talk!" John yelled. "That female fellow—the coworker—that teacher… I see you taking evening strolls with her!" John yelled.
Naruto gave him a flat stare all of a sudden. How did he know about his evening strolls with the silverette? John pursed his lips when he realized his mistake.
"W-what! Have you been spying on me?" Naruto asked incredulously.
John looked around trying to make a comeback. "Hoo! You're not denying the fact that you like her!"
"Do you think I have the time for love?" Naruto quipped.
"But you bought her a gift didn't you?" John smirked.
Naruto narrowed his eyes. He was fully convinced right now. "You two… Have been spying on, haven't you?"
John was sweating bullets as the blonde's eyes turned purple and he stretched his hands out.
"I swear! Gaia made me do it!" John ratted out the resident goddess.
This time it was Naruto's turn to smirk. No wonder he was unable to sense John. "You and Gaia have a lot of explaining to do."
Martha giggled at the sideline watching both adults banter back and forth as if the world wasn't at stake in an all-out battle a few moments ago.
"You were on this with them, weren't you?" Naruto turned to Martha who was looking at the sky like it was very interesting.
"You little shit…" Naruto's eyes twitched as Martha tried to run away. "Come back here!" Naruto pulled her back using Tendo.
John flew towards his sister and pulled her back. "Oh, so now you think you can defy me just because you can grow purple chicken wings?" Naruto asked before three clones popped beside him. "Charge?" he ordered.
This was what the remaining group saw when they finally broke the barrier separating them. More like, the restrictions placed on the barrier were lifted.
Four Narutos chasing John and Martha around inside a crater. A huge rock wall stopping the waters from overflowing in the distance. A good portion of the dimension destroyed
"What the?" Dulio said, staring at the destruction and the humans below.
"They did it…" Gaia commented, staring at the group. Her stare lingering on Naruto.
The blonde's normally hunched back looked like It was straightened a millimeter and his poker face was nowhere to be found. He was having fun chasing them around like an amateur, abusing his powers.
"Serafall-sama, Ashirok is truly dead," Grayfia announced.
Serafall didn't register Grayfia's words as she was busy staring at the blonde ninja. He was the worst out of the group of three, his clothes in tatters, bruises covering his body. Those two managed to defeat a super devil class being together, was all she could ponder.
"Serafall-sama?" Grayfia tried to get her attention.
Grayfia couldn't fault her. With the feats the Uzumaki performed in front of them, It goes to show them that he was an extraordinary one.
"This is their victory. Let them celebrate," Serafall ordered the devils.
"Naruto-san!" Agatha yelled, her voice stopping Naruto in his tracks.
"Oi! Clumsy Angel!" Naruto replied, waving at her.
What a weirdo. He was back to his former self again when he saw the devils; poker face, unapproachable aura; the whole package, really.
(Scene Change: Kuoh, Uzumaki Mansion)
After the battle, The whole group was teleported back home by the devils; Quavo included, who was now serving his term in prison. The precinct and the school were back to pristine condition and nobody had memories of what transpired anymore. The Ashirok team was now present in Naruto's humble abode.
The blonde Ninja was garbed in a white sweater with a hoodie and black pants. He was currently glaring at a cup of tea, mumbling about devil infestation and exorcism.
"Uzumaki Naruto, we cannot thank you enough for putting an end to the demon."
"Yeah, you have Marth-Marie to thank. She dealt the finishing blow."
Martha blushed when she was mentioned all of a sudden. "Naruto-nii did most of the fighting. I was only a burden."
"Hey, I helped too," John spoke up, feeling left out.
"As we promised, Kuroka has been pardoned of her sins and we will leave you be," Serafall said.
Naruto glared at Souji at the 'we will leave you be' part. He has been acting weird after the demon ordeal. The devil was avoiding eye contact with him and he seemed mellow these days compared to the bloodlust he leaked subconsciously when he was around him.
"Thank you Uh... Sonic's older sister." Naruto knew her younger sister was sonic, the student president.
Souji twitched at the mention of sonic.
"So, you guys are devils and angels for real?" Yuri asked, sitting beside John.
The blonde gave her a choice. Remember or forget, and she chose the latter on one condition. Never to tell a soul about the things she saw.
"So, if you guys are angels, devils, humans with demon powers, magicians, then… What are you, sensei?" Yuri asked.
Everyone except Gaia leaned close to hear Naruto's answer. The blonde was an enigma to all of them.
"Well, I am…" Naruto glanced at everyone before he spoke, "Class 3-E's homeroom teacher."
"Ugh," they all moaned.
"I'll solve the mystery of what you are one day," Yuri announced with burning determination.
"Are you perhaps, a Youkai?" Grayfia who was normally reserved was quite curious about the blonde.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at her and shook his head.
"Are you an alien from outer space?" Agatha's eyes lit up as she raised her hand, contributing her own thoughts on the topic.
