Chapter 31 - Death eclipse

"This doesn't make any sense. What just happened? That's not possible, right?" Kate said, fear and confusion in her eyes. She stood up, looking at the screen where she saw the void.

Tim's mouth was wide open, his eyes wide with shock. There was silence among those who stood by the screen, watching. It was an unexpected turn of events. They had asked if the void could be defeated.

Now, it seemed inevitable. The furious three looked drained. Everyone wondered if the fight would still continue.

Lord Orion looked at the screen, scanning what he was seeing. He still couldn't believe it as he watched from his office.

"Captains, get ready to engage," Lord Orion ordered, speaking through a communicator.

The message reached the Strato Sub-Station, a space station close to Earth where the seven captains were, except Deborah. The captains saw the shocking event and waited to engage.

"Now what? The furious three can't keep up with this fight. It's better we join in now," Oliver said.

"No, not yet. Do not engage. We are not done," Tim's voice echoed throughout the station and the sector unit in Galaxia.

"Is he mad? In that current state, he can't continue," Brian shouted in frustration.

"What is he planning?" Eren wondered to himself, feeling worried.

Henk was smiling in amusement, like he knew something was about to unfold.

"Something is really off," Eren thought to himself.

"Now we take out the seals," Tim ordered.

"Wait, like now? You know if we release too much cosmic energy, the forces may intercept," Kenneth said.

"Then use it as a protective cloak. Remember, it was all part of the plan. It's not like I expected him to break through the construct reality. He's just full of surprises. This isn't just a fight. He may be strong, but with our three heads combined, we should be smarter. Still, he looks like someone who has lived for centuries. He must have a weak point or something. Alright, let's lose the seals," Tim said.

"If I undo the seal, when I'm in rage mode, please, no one should come close," Stella signaled.

The three of them reached to the left part of their stomachs and held a certain spot with their index and middle fingers. When they removed their fingers, a pink glowing line followed, falling to the ground.

"Astro seals? Don't tell me they sealed most of their powers all this time but now?" Oliver asked in great surprise, and the other captains showed the same expression. People in Galaxia were curious and surprised. They knew it would be Tim's idea to use the seals when they all thought it was over.

"These seals aren't just regular astro seals. They're beyond that. It's one of my special tools that I've been perfecting for two years," Henk said.

"What Stella just showed us isn't all," Henk continued. "Some sealing art that took me years to perfect, and she learned it in two weeks. Sealing art would be very effective on The-Void, just like we saw before. She still has more to showcase," Henk said with courage and confidence, seeing the Furious Three use his sealing techniques.

Sealing their powers during the fight was Tim's idea. Now I see why he needed that kind of seal. He's a genius," Henk thought to himself.

Not too long after the Furious Three had removed their seals, there was a massive cosmic energy around that filled the place. Even The Void could feel it.

Their lost strength was restored, and it now looked like a fresh fight.

"This doesn't feel right," The Void suddenly said.

Soon, the three of them dashed out at speed towards The Void. Stella brought out her huge two-sided sword and swung it at him, which he dodged at first. Still recovering from the impact, Tim showed up with a long black rod, sending it towards The Void too.

The Void blocked it with a barrier once again and grabbed Tim by his neck, smashing him to the ground. Stella, with light energy around her legs, kicked The Void from the ground. Then Kenneth appeared behind him in a flash with lightning in his hand, ready to strike.

Just as both Stella and Kenneth were about to strike him, The Void suddenly switched places with Tim after he had marked him from the contact earlier, and Tim received the hit, knocking him unconscious.

The impact slapped Tim with an incredible force.

With venomous force, Tim smashed the ground, creating a massive hole. Stella turned with anger, glaring at The Void. Her eyes were already shining green, and the ground around her cracked open. Rocks began to float around her and towards The Void.

"Oh no, it's her rage mode. I have to get out of here," Kenneth said as he departed from her presence in lightning form.

The Void attempted to move but realized he was held down by a green mass that appeared all around his body.

"She can manipulate reality too? Just how strong is this woman?" The Void said in surprise and shock.

Stella, who was a bit far from him, began to gather a very dense grey converging light, earth, and energy.

Stella sent the converging ball of energy towards The Void, which sliced through the air, destroying the ground and buildings around it as it approached him.

A sharp explosion was soon heard as the ball met The Void. There was a bright light and a mild earthquake shook the area.

The Void was later seen crashing to the ground with great force. He quickly stood up, but Stella had already reached him, her hands covered with light energy, ready to punch.

The Void's vessel had already cracked due to Stella's attack, and many other cracks were visible. The Void blocked some punches while others landed.

Many of Stella's punches met The Void's face. After a while, The Void caught one of her hands and squeezed it. She held on to him, but The Void grabbed her other hand. Stella was so focused, she felt someone touching her stomach but ignored it, directly looking at The Void.

The Void squeezed her hand, making her kneel down. Then Stella saw the opportunity to execute her plan.

"Sealing Art: Eternal Lockdown," Stella called out, stretching her hand with a white line towards The Void's stomach. But when she unleashed the seal, she looked up and saw that the person she placed the seal on was herself. The body was faint, and she was under a construct, a shadow of The Void.

"Precognition? That's impossible. How can he?" Kenneth asked in surprise while he watched.

Precognition, a technique where one can create an alternate clone in an alternate reality and connect it to time to predict the opponent's next action, then switch the real body. The feeling of someone touching her stomach was actually her clone self from a few seconds into the future when the execution was completed in real time.

Stella realized this and jumped away from The Void's presence with great pain, as the seal was destroying her cosmic power source around the seal until it spread around her badly if she continued to use her powers.

She clenched her fist, and suddenly the light line matrix appeared again, trapping The Void where he was as the rods pierced through his body. But it took a great effect on Stella as well.

The seal began to give Stella terrible pain, making her kneel down, holding her stomach. The seal wasn't allowing her to go any further, but Stella still wanted to fight.

"Stella, you have to stop! That seal is killing her," Kenneth said with so much worry and concern.

Stella's glowing izigan markings began to flicker, and her glowing eyes started to fade. She stood up with her last strength and forced her cosmic power as she began to gather light energy within her. She screamed as she did so, while The Void released his cosmic energy together with his strength, beginning to break through the line matrix seal.

When he successfully broke the seal, with the rods still within his body, Stella shot an instant laser from her eyes, which hit The Void. He couldn't create a barrier in time.

The Void blocked the laser with his bare hands, surrounded by protective cosmic energy. He smiled while blocking it, but Stella ran out of energy. She began to waver until she was about to fall to the ground. Kenneth picked her up with lightning speed and took her somewhere else.

The Void walked around while the seal rods faded, he then sensed something coming at massive speed behind him. He turned and created his barrier, ready to stop it. To his surprise, the black rod covered with white flames broke through the barrier and struck The Void's shoulder, pinning him to the wall behind him.

"What is this? How did it break through my energy barrier? It drove through it like it was nothing," The Void thought in shock.

"It shouldn't have had the force to give me such damage. It has to be that man who has a cosmic ability I don't fully understand yet," The Void said in anger while he held the rod, trying to break it. Tim came into sight, kneeling slowly as he looked at The Void.

"Tim, we are engaging now," Brian said, which Tim heard through his earphone.

"No, not yet. We haven't performed the final act. Leave this to me," Tim said, looking tired and worn out.

His voice was heard through the Strato Sub-station and the sector unit in Galaxia, and some other people watched.

"What is he planning on doing?" Terry asked curiously as he watched.

"Six hundred and ninety megajoules, six hundred and ninety-five, seven hundred and eighty? It's increasing. What's going on?" Kate asked as she looked at the readings.

Tim watched the screen as the numbers increased, showing the measurements. "It's coming from Tim, so he still has something up his sleeve," Terry whispered to himself.

"He is speaking of it, the death eclipse," Eren said slowly.

"What did you just say?" Henry asked curiously.

"Construct reality, merge in reality: Act of cosmic alliance. Death eclipse," Tim declared, holding his hands together as he performed the act.

Suddenly, there was a change in the environment as the clouds began to move rapidly, forming a huge ball in the Earth's atmosphere. The size was increasing, acting like the moon, and it blocked the sun, forming a perfect eclipse.

The ground emitted black shadows of cosmic energy, and everywhere was dark. Soon, Tim's skin began to change. It turned black and looked burnt, resembling black hard metal. His izigan markings began to glow, and his eyes did the same. His body almost looked like lava, and white flames covered him.

His cosmic presence alone made the earth tremble, and the void felt it beneath him. He was shocked at what he saw.

"This is different from the regular construct reality. This is direct reality manipulation. How did he hide so much strength? I found a worthy opponent," the void said smiling as he broke the rod to break free.

"Now it's my turn," Tim called out with tension in his voice staring at the void with hate.
