Yuto narrowed his eyes as he stood surrounded by five special Jounin. Two of the Jounin suddenly darted toward him with remarkable speed.
'They're fast. Too fast to fight head-on without a plan,' Yuto thought as he quickly hurled his marked kunai to strategic locations on the battlefield.
One of the Jounin lunged at him, slashing with a kunai aimed directly at his chest. With a flicker of his Kamigan, Yuto switched places with one of the kunai he had just thrown. He reappeared behind the Jounin and swiftly tossed a poison ball in his direction. The green energy ball burst out, but the Jounin leaped away with reflexes honed through years of combat.
The other Jounin wasted no time as he did hand signs. "Lightning Style: Lightning Ball!" he roared, launching a crackling orb of electricity at Yuto.
Yuto switched positions with another marked kunai just before the attack landed. He appeared close to the attacking Jounin, his hands glowing with a solar ball.
'Got you!' Yuto thought, thrusting the searing sphere toward the Jounin. But his moment of triumph was short-lived as a sharp whistle of wind alerted him to an incoming attack from behind.
"Tch," Yuto muttered, switching again to avoid the attack from behind. The solar ball grazed his target's hand, leaving a nasty burn but not enough to incapacitate him.
'They're coordinating well. I need to break their rhythm.'
Forming a quick set of hand signs, Yuto muttered under his breath, "Scattering Thousand Crows Technique."
With a puff of smoke, Yuto's body dissolved into a swarm of crows. The chaotic fluttering of wings disoriented the Jounin, their eyes struggling to track Yuto amidst the countless black feathers.
"Stay alert!" one of the Jounin barked.
But it was too late. Yuto silently emerged from the swarm, his Kamigan locking onto a Jounin who was momentarily exposed. His eyes glowed faintly with a sinister greenish red hue as he whispered, "Poison Laser."
A greenish black beam of energy pierced through the Jounin's chest. The man staggered, his eyes wide with shock, before collapsing to the ground, dead.
'One down, four to go,' Yuto thought grimly, his gaze darting between the remaining opponents who were now warier than ever.
While Yuto fought fiercely outside, Kakuzu sat surrounded by stacks of ryo, meticulously counting each coin and bill. The sounds of distant explosions reached his ears, but he paid no mind, muttering, "Money is all that matters." A faint rumble shook the room, prompting a brief glance toward the door.
'Whatever's happening can wait,' Kakuzu thought, his focus remained on the treasure before him. "They can wait until I'm done," he muttered coldly, ignoring the chaos.
Yuto leapt back, narrowly avoiding spikes erupting from the ground due to one of the Jounin's Earth Style jutsu. He quickly switched with a kunai as another Jounin unleashed Wind Style: Great Breakthrough, dispelling his scattering thousand crows.
Without hesitation, Yuto formed hand seals, generating a poison energy ball near his mouth and fusing it with a Wind Style:Great Breakthrough. The bluish-green poisonous wind swept toward the four Jounin, but three of them countered with Lightning style:Lightning Spear, Water style:Water Bullet, and Fire style:Fire Breath techniques, neutralizing the attack.
The combined jutsu surged toward Yuto, but he calmly extended his left hand, absorbing the Jutsus with his chakra absorption technique. Simultaneously, he channeled the absorbed chakra into an enormous Odama Solar Ball above his right hand. The sudden counter left the three Jounin stunned, including the fourth Jounin who was preparing a sneak attack.
Seizing the moment, Yuto switched to a kunai near the fourth Jounin, and grabbed his shoulder. He then switched with him to another Jounin, and slammed the Odama Solar Ball into their midst before switching away. The massive explosion consumed the two Jounin caught in its center, leaving them obliterated as Yuto prepared for the remaining opponents.
Yuto locked eyes with the two remaining Jounin, noticing their fear and wariness. One of them formed hand seals, and Yuto mirrored him, silently marveling at how his scanner ability has now reached the sufficient level to copy a jutsu on the fly.. The Jounin unleashed Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder, and Yuto responded in kind. The two streams of lightning clashed, but Yuto knew his was weaker since it was his first time using the technique.
Keeping the jutsu active, Yuto extended his free hand, absorbing the Jounin's lightning and channeling it into his own attack. Overwhelmed, the Jounin ceased his jutsu and used the Replacement Technique to escape the attack.
Meanwhile, the second Jounin formed hand signs before slamming them on the ground. Walls appeared around yuto as a dome appeared around him, encasing Yuto as he quickly identified the jutsu as Earth style:Earth Prison. Trapped, Yuto smirked. His eyes flashed as he released a solar wave, cracking the walls, then destroyed the prison with a single punch.
The two Jounin, realizing they were outmatched, turned and fled. Yuto calmly tracked them, a crow circling above their retreat. With a massive Odama Solar Ball forming in his hand, Yuto switched places with the crow, appearing directly above the fleeing Jounin.
"Too slow," Yuto muttered as he slammed the glowing orb into them, the explosion leaving nothing but ash behind. He exhaled, his eyes scanning the area for any further threats.
Hitomi unleashed a blazing Fireball Jutsu, engulfing a Chunin in flames and reducing him to ash. She swiftly leaped back as a torrent of water smashed into her previous position. Spinning mid-air, she hurled shuriken at her next attacker. The Chunin dodged, smirking, but froze in horror as the glint of ninja wire connecting the shuriken caught his eye.
"Got you," Hitomi muttered with a smirk, tightening the wire with precision. The sharp tension sliced into the Chunin's neck, and he collapsed, clutching his throat as life drained from him.
Naruko's clones swiftly overwhelmed the remaining ninjas, taking them down one by one. With the task complete, she dispelled her clones, the puff of smoke vanishing into the air. She quickly regrouped with Hitomi, and the two headed toward Yuto's location.
Meanwhile, Kakashi faced Suien in an intense exchange. A Fireball Jutsu from Kakashi clashed with Suien's Water Jet Jutsu, creating a thick mist that obscured the battlefield. Using the opportunity, Kakashi disappeared from sight.
Suien's eyes widened as he felt a sharp pain in his chest; Kakashi had appeared behind him with a kunai lodged firmly in his torso. Suien collapsed to the ground, dead. 'You are an elite Jounin, but only of a small village, so your standards are quite mediocre.' Kakashi thought before using the Body Flicker Jutsu to vanish, heading toward Yuto's position.
