Abbey hesitated at first, but deep down he desperately wanted to see Sharon, so he decided to answer the phone. However, he was completely caught off guard when he heard someone else's voice on the line.
Suspicious, Abbey asked, "Who are you and what have you done with Sharon?" There was a smug chuckle on the other end before the person finally responded. "Your girlfriend is in trouble with our gang and she said you could help. To rescue her, you'll need to pay a certain amount of money. Don't worry, it's only ten million in cash," the man trailed off, laughing maniacally. Abbey couldn't believe what he was hearing - had Sharon been kidnapped? Or was this some kind of test?
As he tried to make sense of the situation, the man on the other end of the line spoke again. "You have until midnight to come up with the money and meet us at our gang headquarters if you want to save your girlfriend," he sneered. Abbey was taken aback by the mention of a "gang headquarters." He was at a loss for words, struggling to come up with a response. Finally, he managed to compose himself and asked, "What's the name of your gang and where is your headquarters?"
The man boasted, "We are the Sky Eagle Gang." Abbey was shocked yet again, wondering why Sharon would be associated with such a ruthless and evil group of people. He couldn't understand why anyone would voluntarily be a part of them.
Sensing that Abbey was taking too long to respond, the man spoke up again. "You have until midnight to bring the money and save your girlfriend. Otherwise, the consequences will be dire," he threatened before ending the call. Abbey was left speechless, trying to process the gravity of the situation. What was Sharon thinking, getting involved with a notorious gang like the Sky Eagles? He knew he had to act quickly or else Sharon's safety would be at risk.
"Are these guys serious?" Abbey asked himself. "And where do they expect me to come up with that money?" He kept murmuring to himself. Finally, Abbey couldn't take it anymore and decided to act alone. "I am going to teach the whole gang a lesson they will never forget," Abbey concluded.
An idea popped into his head. "I still have a connection with Sharon's mentality. I could use my powers to reach out to her and find out exactly who or what I am dealing with."
Meanwhile, Sharon was in an undisclosed location, surrounded by men and women wearing a specific set of clothes. The men were dressed in blue and black, while the women wore mainly white. Sharon was in the center, her hands tied behind her back with a rope and left on the floor. Despite the situation, Sharon showed bravery that surprised everyone, including the supposed leader. The man was taken aback by Sharon's courage and asked her once again, "Who are you and why are you so calm in this dangerous situation?" Sharon simply replied nonchalantly, "You will see when the time comes."
The supposed leader was even more surprised by Sharon's confidence and quickly asked one of his subordinates to do a background check on Sharon and anyone she might have called. Shortly thereafter, the subordinate came back with the results of their investigation. The man let out a menacing laugh as he looked Sharon in the eyes. "You almost fooled me," he said. "I thought you were some kind of big shot or associated with someone higher up." Sharon didn't say much; she just smiled at him and prayed in her heart for Abbey to arrive soon.
As she quietly prayed in her heart, something unexpected happened. She could hear Abbey's voice in her head. She looked around to make sure he wasn't around her. After confirming that he wasn't, she closed her eyes and focused on him. Once they were connected, they found themselves floating in the air. Abbey wasted no time and asked her what the situation was and how she got involved with the Sky Eagle Gang. Sharon, however, wasn't interested in sharing too many details. Instead, she gave him a stern look as if to say, "Get me out of this situation first before you start asking unnecessary questions." Abbey couldn't believe how ungrateful Sharon was and quickly said, "I came all this way to save you and this is the thanks I get." Sharon thought for a moment before saying, "I appreciate your efforts, but I don't want to discuss it right now." "Okay, no worries," replied Abbey before asking again, "Can I see through your eyes and know what I'm up against?" Sharon nodded in agreement.
After a few seconds, Sharon stepped back and Abbey possessed her body. But before allowing Abbey to possess her, she warned him in a condescending voice, "Don't you dare peck at any part of my body." Abbey was taken aback by Sharon's statement. He thought to himself, "Is this what she's really thinking right now?"
Before long, Abbey was in Sharon's body, looking around at the situation on the ground. Immediately, he spotted the supposed leader and gave him a stern look. The leader noticed Sharon, now Abbey's face, and remarked, "Your boyfriend is running out of time. I suppose he's too scared to come or he's abandoned you to your fate."
Sharon and Abbey both burst into a maniacal laugh. "Your boyfriend won't stand a chance against us," declared Abbey, the supposed leader. Though Sharon was not sure if Abbey was joking, she responded nonchalantly, "If your boyfriend does show up, we'll take care of him."
However, Abbey's words made Sharon wary of him and she gave him a stern look, as if to say, "You're my next target." Without much thought, Abbey took a deep breath and exited Sharon's body. "Back so soon?" Sharon asked curiously. Abbey responded angrily, "I've decided to possess the supposed leader and teach him a lesson."
Within seconds, Sharon was back in control of her body while Abbey battled the supposed leader for control. According to the rules, two souls cannot possess a body at the same time, so they were fighting for dominance. As the original owner of the body, the supposed leader put up a tough fight, refusing to go down without a struggle. While the men fought, Sharon watched with a grin, knowing what was happening.
The other men were confused and curious as they saw their leader go down on one knee, seemingly choking. Inside the supposed leader, the battle raged on. Abbey used all sorts of techniques to spiritually choke the leader and make him surrender. Finally, the leader gave in and allowed Abbey to take control. As soon as Abbey was in control, he got up and pointed to his men, saying, "Let the lady go."
The men were as confused and startled as the leader who had ordered them. Seeing their confusion, Abbey didn't bother explaining further; he simply raised his hand and slapped one of the men across the face. The sound of the slap echoed across the room, catching everyone off guard. In response, they all scrambled towards Sharon to set her free. Sharon had a smile on her face as her ropes were untied. She glanced at the supposed leader, now knowing his identity, and casually remarked, "What am I supposed to do now?"
The leader apologized for the inconvenience and promised to compensate for any harm done. He then turned to one of his men, who immediately understood his meaning. After a while, the man returned with a weapon and was about to use it on Sharon. She was taken aback by this sudden change and almost lost her footing. The supposed leader quickly reacted and grabbed the weapon from the man, knocking him to the floor with a kick. Everyone in the room was surprised by the leader's reaction and didn't know what to do. Steadying himself, the leader, Abbey, yelled out in a loud voice, "Anyone who touches this lady again will answer to me." He further explained to his men that Sharon was now an honored guest in the organization and that nobody should lay a hand on her again. After this declaration, the whole room fell silent.
Turning to another one of his men, the leader ordered, "Go bring me the checkbook." Abbey immediately wrote a check for ten million and signed it. He handed the check to Sharon, who smiled in response. "This is for your compensation," he said to her.
Sharon's reaction was one of caution but she did not decline the check. Rather, she fixed the leader, Abbey, with a pointed stare that demanded an explanation for the situation at hand. Abbey, in turn, avoided meeting Sharon's gaze at all costs, showcasing a reluctance that spoke volumes. He found it more appealing to face a lion in its den than to confront the woman's piercing eyes, these thoughts swirling in his mind as he pondered the situation. In a loud voice that carried throughout the assembly of the Sky Eagle gang, Abbey made a plea, urging Sharon to inform her companion that they deeply regretted their actions and wished to avoid any potential repercussions. This proclamation sent shockwaves through the gang members, all of whom were clearly rattled by the admission. The question loomed large among them - who exactly was this mysterious lady's significant other, and why did their supposedly fearless leader harbor such deep-seated apprehension towards him?
