"Wh...!?" he whispered, not sure to say what or why. He looked around himself, fluttering his eyes. What was going on? A huge wall was standing ahead of him, and great red doors with a phoenix painted on each of them were exactly in the middle of that. But the most surprising thing were the guards who were bringing weapons made of a strange energy which had fire on their top. 'Ok, now I'm a bit frightened. But they shouldn't hurt me, right? This guy brought me here, and if he really is who he says to be, they should let us pass right away'. In fact, as the guards saw the crest on the butler's jacket, they made space to let them pass. The city was even more surprising. Imagine a huge city like New York, London or Shanghai, then add a festival where you can find things you've heard of only into books and where people entertain using enchantments and challenging each others in a friendly way and finally add a huge golden castle on top of it. That's the exact description of what was behind the doors. At first, Peter was surprised, but then he started to feel a bit angry. 'What's with this all? They live in such a luxury while in the rest of the State you can only find little villages with small houses and where there live poor people too?! Luckily, I wasn't in such a bad situation, 'cause my parents aren't rich, but we had what we needed, but still, the gap is too huge'. That's not all what he was feeling, he was curious about that energy (which is, as I wrote before, magic) and he was quite hungry too, because he didn't eat a proper meal since when he left his village. Into the city there were human-like beasts too, and even people from other countries (thought there weren't a lot of them, infact not all the countries got along well). Most of the people had orange or golden hair, but there could be seen even black-haired people and brown-haired ones. For some reason, some people were looking at Peter with a strange look in their eyes. He seemed to have ignored them, but in the truth, he was wandering what they wanted. The butler said to follow him, and they walked to the castle. Apparently, cars weren't allowed except for particular circumstances. Peter started to sweat. Even though he couldn't say that in his village there was cold, in the capital there was too much hot. He has ever suffered it. When the butler said they were arrived, Peter found himself in front of the huge castle, which seemed even bigger from that point of view. Four golden towers were at the top of great walls of the same color, and red-armoured knights were standing all over the place. The inside was even greater. The walls were full of frescoes, and the floor was mostly made of rubin. The butler brought Peter to a room on the third floor. Then, he knocked, and a maid came to open. Inside, there was a girl almost the same age as Peter with long, rubin hair. "So it's him," said the girl. 'What is she talking about?' Peter started to associate everything that had happened 'till now. The bad feeling he had carried for this whole journey kept increasing. The girl stared at him with an annoyed look in her eyes. "Don't look around you that way, speak, or maybe you are mute?" Peter didn't like the way the girl was speaking, but it was quite obvious she was a princess, so he simply answered. "What's going on? Weren't we supposed to go take something for my parents?" The girl was astonished. She looked at the butler with a questioning gaze and asked him, "Haven't you told him yet?""I didn't have the chance. He would've probably run away." After that short exchange of words, the girl looked at Peter again. "You can't be this stupid to really think you have to buy something for your parents. Say, are you fooling me? If not, we will send you out of the city and you'll have to go home by yourself. " Hearing this, Peter couldn't help but fluttered his eyes. He perfectly understood that was a trap, but his body reacted before he could stop it. Seeing that, the girl grinned. She was the first person who discovered him. In truth, the girl was thinking 'Such a person can't be this stupid, otherwise they wouldn't have chosen him, though I still don't know why he has been chosen. Didn't Father say they would have brought somebody important?'. Peter exhaled a sigh. The girl said "For this time, I'll forgive you, but don't ever try doing it again. You know who I am, right?" 'She is trying me again. I think that this time, I have to answer sincerely. She doesn't look like the type of person who would let it pass two times. Well, it should mean that I can finally avoid being underestimated' "You are the princess, right?" The girl's smile kept becoming bigger while the butler opened his eyes in surprise. He had just realized he had been fooled by a child, and he didn't like it. Meanwhile, he was thinking 'Now it makes sense, their son couldn't be like that'. Then the girl said "My name is Leila, and you'll be my assistant 'till we'll want you to be".
