Immediately Liam heard that, he turned his head just in time to catch a glimpse of the man disappearing around the corner after Fiona.
He squinted his eyes and in no time, they widened in recognition. "That's the guy," he said sharply, his voice low but urgent.
"What?" Phil and Elena asked simultaneously but Liam wasn't listening or paying attention to them.
Without a second thought, Liam bolted from his seat, weaving through the tables as he followed the man. Phil was quick to pull out his phone and dial the detective. "Someone's tailing Fiona. We're following him now," he informed.
"I'm on it," came the detective's immediate response, and Phil hung up, signaling Elena to stay put before following Liam.
Elena not wanting to be left behind as she was equally worried about Fiona's wellbeing followed suit.
