Liam pulled up in front of Fiona's place, a smile already tugging at his lips as he spotted her waiting on the porch. She was wearing a simple yet elegant dress, her hair falling in loose waves around her shoulders.
The way she beamed at him as he stepped out of the car made his heart swell with love, just as it always did whenever he saw her.
"Hey, beautiful," Liam greeted, wrapping his arms around her in a warm embrace.
"Hey yourself," Fiona replied, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "What's the occasion? You sounded excited on the phone."
Liam pulled back slightly to look at her, his smile widening. "It's a surprise. But I promise you'll love it."
Fiona raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued, but didn't press him for more information as she simply nodded and let him lead her to the car.
