"So, what happened while I was gone? Anything interesting?" he asked as he settled in and Fiona's expression shifted slightly, as if she remembered something important.
She grinned and said, "Guess what?"
Liam raised a brow. "What? Have an admirer?" he asked with a wink and she giggled.
"Don't be silly. I ran into Cora today," she said, her tone thoughtful.
"Oh, yeah! Derek told me she's here to matchmake him," Liam said and Fiona shook her head in amusement as she leaned back in her chair, folding her arms across her chest.
"Isn't it funny? She's busy matchmaking him when he's madly in love with her." she said and Liam nodded.
"I don't blame her. She wouldn't know if Derek is keeping it to himself," he said and Fiona chuckled.
"I don't know why either but I hope Cora figures it out this time since she's dedicated to getting to know him well this time," she said and Liam sighed.
