Immediately upon arriving at the hospital, Phil carried Elena out of the car and into the emergency room, shouting for help.
Though he didn't know why she had fainted or what was wrong with her, he knew she needed urgent attention.
Nurses rushed to their side, and he was quickly ushered to a waiting area while they attended to her. Phil paced the waiting room, running a hand through his hair repeatedly in frustration and anxiety.
He couldn't shake the image of her collapsing, the fear in her eyes etched into his mind. After what felt like an eternity, a doctor approached him.
"Mr. Phil?" the doctor asked, glancing at his chart.
"Yes, that's me. How is she?" Phil asked anxiously, his heart pounding.
The doctor flashed him a reassuring smile. "She's stable now," he reassured him. "And I think congratulations are in order too."
Phil frowned, his heart racing with different thoughts. "Congratulations?" he asked and the doctor nodded.
