A week had passed since Fiona and Liam's ice cream date, and today was another significant day in their lives.
It was the day Fiona and Liam had invited Harriet over for dinner and even though Fiona was doubtful about Harriet honoring the invitation, she still hoped Harriet would show up.
As she arranged her bags which she would be taking over to Liam's since she was going to spend the weekend there, she looked around as a sigh escaped her mouth.
Even though Mrs Anderson was going to stay with Diana, Fiona still wasn't feeling at ease especially since the house was bigger now.
As though conjured by her thoughts, Diana knocked on the door, a worried frown in her face.
"Come in," Fiona called knowing it could only be her mom.
"You're still packing? I thought you would've been through by now," Diana said and Fiona sighed.
"Are you sure you'll be okay on your own?" she asked, not bothering to comment on her mother's earlier statement.
