As the time for the meeting with Mr. Stuart drew nearer, Fiona and Liam decided to prepare and set off, ensuring they arrived before him so that Liam would make a good impression.
By the time they reached the restaurant, it was a mere twenty minutes to the agreed time. Fiona's anxiety about the meeting and resolving the whole issue was quite evident, her fingers tapping a silent rhythm on the table.
However, Liam, composed and always collected, decided to take this opportunity to get to know her better as they awaited their drink orders. It was his way to know her and also get her mind off whatever was running through it.
