"Tracy?" Liam called, surprised as he bent down to pick her up and then turned to the housekeeper.
"When did she return from the hospital and how is she running around so healthily?" he asked as he ruffled Tracy's hair and the housekeeper, an elderly woman with kind eyes but a guarded expression, shook her head.
"Tracy wasn't sick and was never taken to the hospital," she informed him and Liam frowned as he gave her a nod and without asking if Sofia was home headed upstairs to Sofia's room to go confront her.
He looked around, confusion gnawing at him as he realized Sofia wasn't home and he had just assumed she was seeing as Tracy was.
Liam, feeling a knot of confusion tightening in his chest took out his phone, deciding to call Sofia and find out where she was and why she had to lie about Tracy being sick.
The screen glowed with the last dialed number, Sofia's number, and without wasting time redialed it.
