Cora's face paled slightly, but she quickly regained her composure. She had thought no one would find that out but what was she thinking, Derek always finds that out.
She cleared her throat, dropping her hands to her side. "I don't know what you're talking about." she denied and Derek shook his head.
"Cut the crap, Cora. I have videos of your 'boyfriend' trailing them. You think I wouldn't find out? I mean how could I not suspect your sudden decision to let go of your obsession with Liam after what you did in high school? Why are you doing this? Are you that desperate to sabotage their relationship?"
For a moment, Cora's facade cracked. Derek saw a flicker of guilt in her eyes, but it was quickly replaced by defiance. "You don't understand," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "I just wanted to make sure Liam wasn't being taken advantage of. Fiona is not...."
