Liam's face went white at the news. "What? How did this happen?"
Paul shook his head but before he could speak, Derek did. "I don't know, but it's all over the news. Marcus is offering a hefty sum, and it looks like a hostile takeover," Derek said and Fiona looked at them, their tension visible.
She knew what was at stake with such news but as she looked at Liam, she could see that it sort of felt more tense for him.
Liam walked into his office and Derek followed him. She turned to Paul who was the only one there now.
"Is there more to this rivalry?" Fiona asked and Paul sighed. He glanced at the door to Liam's office before glancing at Fiona again, not sure how much information he should give her.
"There is but I'd suggest you ask the CEO about it," Paul said as he returned to his desk and Fiona took a deep breath before going into Liam's office to join him and Derek.
