After Elena had pulled away, Phil glanced at her, worry in his eyes. "Do you think we should tell Diana everything?" he asked quietly thinking about how shaken Diana would be when she finds out someone tried to kill her only daughter.
Elena shook her head. "Not yet. She doesn't need to know all the details right now," she said thoughtfully and Phil nodded in understanding.
"So, what do we tell her?"
"We can just tell her that the guy's been caught and he's in police custody. That should calm her for now. After we've figured out who was behind it then we can tell her about the rest later," Elena said and Phil nodded in agreement.
They both knew that telling Diana the full extent of what had happened and the fact that someone had tried to kill Fiona would only add more fear and anxiety to an already fragile situation.
