Fiona followed Liam through the building, her curiosity piqued again. They stepped outside, and he led her to the parking lot.
Fiona's brows furrowed as she wondered what he could possibly be taking her to since he had also led her there the first time.
Was he perhaps taking her out on a lunch date? If so, then why was he being suspicious and secretive about it? It's not like this was the first time he would be taking her out on a date. Sue mused, deciding to ask him.
"What's going on? Are you taking me to some fancy restaurant to wow me or something?" she asked, eyeing him suspiciously as they drew closer to where Liam's car was parked and he shrugged.
"You guess," he said offhandedly as he stopped beside a sleek, silver Mercedes Benz C-class car parked just before his car.
"Why are we stopping here? Your car is over...." Fiona let her words trail off and her eyes widened as she took in the gleaming vehicle.
