The scene begins in a quiet town on a storm night. The town known as Windermere Town was known around the world for its close connection to the heavenly realm where the gods of the universe resided. The storm was very rigorous to the point that the town folk had thought that the gods were punishing them, but little did they know a great battle was taking place in the heavenly realm.

I the heavenly realm resided five great regions, The Wetlands ruled by the water goddess Luna and it was located to the east, Then the Sky Palace ruled by the wind god Sora and it was located to the north, Then there was the Thundering Kingdom ruled by the thunder goddess Raijin it was located to the west, Then the Earth Temple ruled by Terra located to the south, And finally the Flaming City ruled by the fire god Inferno located central.

The earth, wind, water and thunder gods all ruled parts of the mortal realm but it was the fire god that had authority over the universe. This way of life in the heavens last for a long time but the other gods eventually grew tired of not having universal control as such they began plotting against the fire god and these events eventually lead to a great battle which shook the universe itself. The other gods all attacked the fire god Inferno at once, Inferno had vastly superior strength compared to the other gods individually but together as a unit they managed to overpower him leading to his ultimate defeat. The gods then proceeded to cast him out of the heavenly realm.

Meanwhile back in the mortal realm in Windermere Town the residents were still very fearful of the ongoing storm and hid in their homes, but one orphaned boy who had no home tried to find shelter with no luck.

After a while of searching the boy found an abandoned cottage in the eye of the storm before getting in he noticed something strange, wierd light emanating from the storm, the light then got bigger and it became a portal and out of it a man flew out.

What was that! The boy exclaimed, He then proceeded to go check what fell upon arriving he saw a what looked to be a man covered in flames and bruises the injured man tried getting up to no avail he then noticed the little boy and proceeded to call him "You boy come here please", the boy hesitated but eventually went to the man the man then asked the boys name ". My name is Zen l. Replied the boy. Sorry Zen I know we just met but I have a favor to ask you. Said the man while coughing blood, Can you carry this for me. The man the took out an orb of energy from his body and gave it to the boy. What is this. Zen asked. But before he could receive an answer the man succumbed to his injuries and died. Zen was afraid but he just took the orb and ran back to the cottage. In the cottage he found an old blanket and put it around himself before proceeding to look at the orb. The orb then got absorbed into Zen's body causing the boy immense pain to the point where he fainted.

The next day Zen woke up wondering where he was, he had dismissed the events of the previous night only as a dream . When he got out of the cottage he saw that the storm was gone almost as if it never happened. Zen proceeded to walk around the area when he saw the man's body "it wasn't a dream, yesterday really happened. He realized. He then proceeded to bury the man and give a short prayer before going back to the cottage to ponder the events of the previous day.

As he sat in the cottage he began to feel a surge within his body it was the core he was given. It radiated energy all around the room and formed into the man Zen saw the previous day. The man began communicating with Zen and the conversation between the two started

It's you the man that died yesterday, who are you.

My name is Inferno and I am the Fire God.

The fire god!, ruler of the universe.

Yes that is I.

What would a deity like you want with the likes of a mortal like me.

You see Zen a great battle of the gods took place right before you found me,the other gods were envious of my power and as a result they revolted against me to take my title and place as the ruler of the universe. Now due to this development the universe is now imbalanced.

Imbalanced? Is that why the storm that brewed yesterday was stronger than anything we've I've ever seen.

Yes that is the reason. So I have another request for you.

Yes. As you saw for yourself I perished to the assault of the gods as such I can no longer bring balance to the universe which is why I need you to be my replacement. You must defeat the other gods and become the new Fire God.

The new Fire God. But how I'm just a mortal and a kid how could someone like me defeat gods and become the fire god.

You mean that glowing orb full of energy?

Yes. It is known as a celestial core and it is the instrument that allows one to ascend to divinity.

This is all too much I mean going against the gods its blasphemy. I could never do something like that.

Thank you Zen. It will take years for you to become powerful enough to be able to ascend so we will need to train so that you may be able to awaken the power of the core

Yes. The celestial core will gift its user with great abilities which vary depending on the element it holds and in your case it is fire since it is the flaming celestial core.

So your saying that when I awaken this core thingy I will be able to use fire like magic and stuff?

Yes but we will need to be hasty with the training.

Well all I can say is that I'll remain as long as my lingering will has energy. And with the energy I have now I can say that I will only be able to remain for Ten years. I won't be able to teach you everything but I will at least be able to teach a lot of things you will need to defeat the gods and restore balance to the universe.

Then a huge explosion erupted in the woods Zen had awakened.

Zen my student you have made great progress these past ten years and you have grown a lot too. I am glad to have been your master but now my time has arrived

(crying) Master I dreaded this day for ten years but I know that there is nothing I can do. So all I can say is, thank you for being the best master to me and I promise you that I will defeat the gods and become the new Fire God.
