(Third Person POV)
"I won't let that bastard get away." Genryujin said as he narrowed his eyes
Ukitake looked at him, "Gen, just calm down!" He said, "Tell us what's going on!"
Genryujin scowled, "Does it matter to you?!" He growled
"Genryujin, enough!" Retsu exclaimed as she walked up to him and slapped him in the face, "This has gone too far!"
The other Captains present were surprised by this; Retsu slapping her husband like that. They were well aware that out of all Shinigami in Soul Society, Retsu was one of the few that was capable of doing that without any repercussions.
"Retsu...." Genryujin said
"You released your Zanpakuto, attacked us..." She said, "All because you let your anger get the best of you?"
"I purified you from his ability." Genryujin said, "And what do you want me to do?! Let the bastard spit on my face like that?!"
"We need to take a step back and calm down." Retsu said, "Think about the others, please!"
"She's right." Isshin said as he patted his pants, "Ryujin-san, you're being too impulsive."
Genryujin glared at him, "Impulsive, Isshin?" He said, "What would you do if it were your wife, huh? What would you do if your wife was the one that was raped?!"
Isshin took a step back, surprised by the sudden question.
"Enough." Retsu said, "Seal your Zanpakuto, now."
Genryujin looked at her, "No." He said simply as he moved her out of the way, "I will not stop until I have his head."
He began to walk past her as a figure crashed right in front of them, causing a massive shockwave. The Captains felt the immense spiritual pressure coming from the dust cloud in front of them while Genryujin stopped and scowled.
"This.....!" Kyoraku said, "This is just great!"
As the dust dispersed, Genryujin narrowed his eyes to see Kenpachi holding his zanpakuto as he gave him a wicked smirk.
"Oiiii!!!" He shouted, "What's this?! The Famous Sword God finally released his Zanpakuto?! This is just the fun I was waiting for!!!!"
Genryujin looked at him, "Out of the way, Zaraki." He said seriously, "I won't ask you twice."
Kenpachi pointed his blade at him, "You attacked a Captain, no? That makes you an enemy of Soul Society." He said with a grin, "That means I have to fight you to stop you, right? That's right! I'll fight you right here right now!!"
"This guy just wants an excuse to fight Genryujin!" Isshin exclaimed
"You're right about that." Byakuya said, "What do we do? Should we stop him?"
Retsu looked at Kenpachi, "Captain Kenpachi, please stand down." She said seriously, "Do not make this worse than it already is."
Kenpachi scowled, "Huuh?!" He said with an annoyed tone, "You willing to ruin this fun, Unohana?! Get lost!!"
Genryujin narrowed his eyes, "Watch your tone when speaking to her, Kenpachi." He said, "I will not have anyone disrespecting my women...."
"Ho?" Kenpachi said as he waved his blade and caused a shockwave, "In that case, I'll willingly disrespect her! Come, Genryujin! I'll fight you!"
In an instant, Kenpachi rushed at Genryujin, swinging his sword in a swift and frantic manner. Genryujin raised his blade to block it as he pivoted slightly. The moment Kenpachi's blade phased through the flame blade of Genryujin's, the Sword God immediately slashed at his chest in an instant, avoiding his blade completely.
The attack caused flames to burst out of his chest, staggering him.
"Hehe!" Kenpachi said as he straightened up, "Attaboy!"
He swung his sword again at Genryujin who merely dodged with ease, slashing at his arm and elbow. The blade not only cut him, but caused the wound to erupt with black flames as it staggered him again.
"This is not good." Isshin said as Kyoraku adjusted his hat, "What do we do?"
"Can't believe I'm saying this...." Kyoraku said, "But I rather not get involved.....what's suspicious is Captain Aizen's behavior.."
Retsu turned to look at him, "Agreed." she said, "Captain Kyoraku, Captain Shiba, come with me. We shall confront him. Captain Kuchiki, stay with Captain Ukitake and watch these two. Make sure they don't go too far."
In a split second, the three Captains disappeared using Shunpo.
Byakuya narrowed his eyes as he saw Kenpachi and Genryujin clashing, the two of them causing shockwaves with their attacks.
"Captain Kenpachi sure is something..." Ukitake said as he rubbed his neck nervously, "He's taking Genryujin's attack and shrugging them off."
"They're both monsters..." Byakuya muttered
Kenpachi laughed maniacally as Genryujin rushed at him, slashing at him more, causing more flames to erupt.
"This is it!!!" Kenpachi said with a grin, "That's it, Genryujin!!! Do you remember?! The First Time we fought?! All that time ago!!! I followed you here to the Gotei just to challenge you again!!!"
Genryujin dodged his blade and kicked him straight in the chest, sending him reeling and rushing him in an instant, swinging his blade at his midsection and cutting him again.
"You're too fucking resilient..." Genryujin muttered as he watched him straighten up again, "I'm trying to go easy on you...."
"Easy?!" Kenpachi scowled, "You fucking dare go easy on me?!"
With a wild flurry, Kenpachi rushed at the Sword God, managing to cut his cheek slightly as Genryujin backstepped.
"Hm..." Genryujin said
"You and I....we're the same!" Kenpachi shouted, "Two men just wanting nothing but pleasure in battle! What happened to that Sword God?! The one that brutally killed anything in his way! You've grown soft, Genryujin!!!"
He rushed at him with another wild flurry, attempting to cut him up.
"Enough." Genryujin said as he deflected his attacks with ease, "I won't have you stand in my way, Zaraki!"
Genryujin crouched down and in an instant, he swung upwards, hitting Kenpachi in the face and bursting more black flames.
He wanted to knock him out using the properties of his purification flames, but ended up doing something he didn't want to.
As he tried to straighten himself up, he was pushed back by a wave of pure golden Reiatsu.
"Shit!!!" Genryujin said, "I'm an idiot...I took his eyepatch off!"
"Hahahah!!" Kenpachi laughed, "Now this is more like it!!! Let's do this, Genryujin!!"
"Let us fight to the fucking death!!!!"
