Travis's eyes lingered on Mijoo, taking in every detail of her flushed face and heaving chest. She looked truly beautiful in that moment, her features softened by the afterglow of their passion, her eyes heavy with contentment. With a gentle smile, he rose to his feet and fetched a drink for her, wanting to offer her some comfort after their intense encounter.
As he handed her the drink, Mijoo wasted no time in downing it, the cool liquid soothing her parched throat. With a deep breath, she sat up, her movements graceful as she tried to compose herself. Travis watched her with a mixture of admiration and curiosity, eager to hear her thoughts on their shared experience.
"How was it?" he asked, his voice tinged with a hint of anticipation, which only served to make Mijoo blush even more deeply.
'It was the best thing I've ever felt. But I can't tell him that,' she thought, her mind racing with conflicting emotions.
"It was good. Um, what now?" she replied, her words hesitant as she struggled to find the right thing to say.
Travis leaned back, his expression unreadable as he considered her question. He had no intention of rushing into anything, preferring to let Mijoo take the lead in their budding relationship.
"Why don't you tell me? I'm all ears," he suggested, his tone inviting and open.
Mijoo's heart fluttered at his words, a mixture of excitement and uncertainty swirling within her. She knew she couldn't confess her feelings just yet, but she also didn't want to let this moment slip away.
"Um, let's continue with this until we both get tired of each other," she suggested tentatively, hoping it was the right choice.
"Hmm, sure. That's alright. Well, I better leave before Ari or Soohyun comes back. We'll also talk about the business tomorrow, alright?" Travis replied, his demeanor casual as he made his way to the door.
As he left, Mijoo couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over her. She knew their encounter had been bold and risky, but she also couldn't deny the thrill of it all. She resolved to keep their relationship a secret for now, not wanting to risk their friendships with Ari and Soohyun.
Travis walked back to his apartment, his mind buzzing with thoughts of Mijoo and their passionate encounter. However, his thoughts were interrupted when he bumped into Ari, who looked unusually downcast. Sensing an opportunity, Ari approached him, hoping to execute her plan.
"Hey, Travis," she called out, her voice tinged with desperation.
"Yo," Travis replied nonchalantly, not stopping in his tracks.
Ari hurried to catch up with him, her heart pounding in her chest. "Wait, could I talk with you for a minute?" she pleaded, hoping he would listen to her.
Travis smirked, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes as he slowly turned to face her. "Sorry, I can't right now. Maybe later," he replied, before continuing on his way, leaving Ari to stew in her own thoughts.

[ The Next Day ]
Travis was roused from his slumber by the insistent knocking at his door. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he made his way to the entrance and swung it open, revealing a delivery man standing on the doorstep, accompanied by a truck loaded with boxes.
"Are you Mr. Blackthorn? We're here to deliver your stuff. Could you sign here?" the delivery man asked, extending a clipboard towards Travis.
Travis nodded groggily, taking the clipboard and pen, he quickly scrawled his signature on the dotted line before handing it back. With a nod of gratitude, the delivery man motioned to his crew, and they began unloading the boxes and furniture, ferrying them into the apartment.
"This is kinda useless since I won't be living here for long. But it is what it is," Travis mused to himself as he watched the flurry of activity, resigned to the fact that he wouldn't be staying in this apartment for long.
Once the delivery was complete, Travis stepped inside and surveyed the newly furnished space. With everything in its place, the apartment looked infinitely better than before, and a sense of satisfaction washed over him.
Determined to make the most of his new surroundings, Travis settled onto the couch and powered up his gaming console, eager to lose himself in the virtual world and escape the realities of his ever-complicated life. As the familiar glow of the screen illuminated the room, he felt a surge of excitement course through him, ready to dive into a gaming session like never before.
' I might just forget about my mission and start gaming ' he thought.
...
A few hours later, Travis received a call from Mijoo asking him to come over. He smiled and agreed to come over. He then got a text from Han-Bada, asking if he was available, which he replied saying he wasn't since he planned on going to meet Mijoo.
On Han-Bada's side:
' I wanted to confirm what we were before anything else. But I guess we'll do that on a later time. ' she thought.
Travis got dressed ready to meet Mijoo; he already had planned everything out for their business. So he left the apartment and walked to her place. Since it was Sunday the street was buzzing with people, he got there and saw Soohyun sat on the porch.
"What's up?" He said as he approached him.
"Nothing, what about you?"
"Same, so did you hit it with that girl?" Travis asked, sitting next to him.
"Of course, what about you?"
"Not really, she did give me head. But I ended up finding someone way better the next day," Travis said while smirking.
Soohyun laughed saying, "Wow, who knew Travis was a playboy. I'm going to be meeting this other chick from work today. Wish me luck."
"And you call me a playboy. Good luck though. Where is Mijoo-Noona?"
"Oh she's inside. You helping her out with the business right? Thanks man, I appreciate it a lot." He sincerely said.
"It's nothing big bro. I see a lot of potential in this place."
' A lot of potential indeed '.
