I groaned a little as the movements were a bit uncomfortable but I turned a little finding the cold, hard metal pressed against my cheek again.
I was about to open my eyes when I felt something warm and softer hold my head and a blanket was draped against me.
"I hope this will be comfortable." I heard a voice murmur.
I didn't know for how long I slept but when I woke up I was inside the carriage, alone with the commotion going on outside.
I sat up and looked out of the window to see the people of the town gathered around the carriage and the Templar Knights trying to keep the crowd from reaching the carriage.
"Please, let us see the healer!"
"Please bring them to heal our family!"
"We want to see the healer now!"
Unlike the previous town, this one seemed underprivileged and even the people were skin and bones.
"Please calm down, everyone!" The knights shouted.
"The Healer is currently tired and is resting!"
