"There's no worry about being thrown away," I spoke up making Drac to look at me with wide hopeful eyes.
"Since Lyall already let you stay here, I guess it's fine to say that you're a part of us now." I said and his face broke into a huge smile.
"Tha-Thank you, Master!"
I turned my gaze on Lyall and he straightened up.
"Complete report." I ordered and he bowed.
"Yes, Master."
Drac was sent out while Lyall gave me the reports while I stood near the window watching the kids playing in the yard behind the inn.
"There were multiple ambush attacks here in the past month, Master but ever since Drac came, we had an upperhand."
"You didn't suspect him?" I asked.
"He said you saved his life and that he's chosen you as his Master so..."
"Was that enough for you to take him in?"
