Grandfather and Silas sat in front of me still as rocks as I was done with the explanation.
"Why didn't you call for me if things were so bad? Why didn't you tell me about this demon?" Silas demanded and I leaned ahead, placing my arms on my thighs as I entwined my fingers.
"Because it was beyond you," I said, "I was capable of defeating that demon but I miscalculated and it almost cost my life."
"I would have at least bought you some time!" Silas thundered.
"You are useless against a demon," Marquis snapped and Silas scowled at him.
"She almost died!"
"She's a Dragon!" Grandfather raised his voice, "Humans were never the beings who could stand against the demons. It was her fight."
"Didn't you hear what she said? She said she was almost taken over by that demon!"
"Yet, she managed to come back on her own."
"She was helped by an unknown-"
"She is back!" Grandfather thundered rendering Silas's argument.
