"Is it all right to tell him who we are?" Marquis Fairisles asked me and I looked at Kai who was still wary of the two men.
"He'll need to know sooner or later," I said, "You two keep coming here frequently so I can't have him get scared every time."
Silas looked at me with his arms still crossed at his chest and I sighed, "I know what you are here for, but can it wait?"
Silas sighed, "Fine."
"Thank you," I said before I faced Grandfather.
I and Kai sat down on the sofa facing Grandfather while Silas stood near the window.
"Was your mission successful?" Grandfather asked and I nodded.
"It was a great success."
"Then this child is the Saint," Grandfather mused as he observed Kai.
"Was," I corrected, "He's mine now."
Grandfather gave me a curious look before he studied Kai who was sticking to me like a little koala.
"By the looks, it seems like you have adopted this child?"
"Yes," I answered.
