Miri's shoulders relaxed as she smiled at me and sat beside me.
"I didn't expect this day to come this soon." She said and I nodded.
"It was the fruits of your efforts, Master Ocean." She said and I sighed.
"All of our efforts, you mean, Your Highness." I corrected.
"You... don't need to address me formally, Master Ocean." She said and I chuckled.
"Then why are you, a Princess, addressing me so formally?" I asked and she smiled.
"Because it only feels right to be respectful to the person who risked their life for us. You are the reason that we can now live our lives peacefully." She said as she looked at me with eyes filled with admiration and tears.
"I won't take the whole credit, Princess. Everyone had to work their part for this plan to work."
She smiled and held my hand, "I and Mordino will always be indebted to you, Master Ocean."
I sighed and shook my head, "I had made a deal before we started this, remember?"
