Sarah's eyes fluttered open, and what she saw was a ceiling made entirely of silver, adorned with statues of creatures resembling bats, most of which she couldn't understand.

A golden glow from the nearby lantern illuminated the statue-studded ceiling. She frowned, attempting to comprehend the room and how she had arrived there. Slowly, the memories flooded back - of the events leading to her injury and Draven carrying her away.

She rose, massaging the lines that had formed on her forehead. Her head throbbed intensely, but her determination to see him drove her forward.

As her gaze roamed the room, she marveled at its vastness. A map lay on a table beside the lantern, with statues of bats still present at the other end of the wall. In front of her, a white curtain swayed gently in the breeze. Sarah stood and pushed the curtains aside, revealing snowflakes gently falling against the ground.
