Anna was the first to speak, striding towards Draven. "I am certain Sarah can take care of herself. We have people to protect Draven; you cannot be around the one whose blood will destroy us all."
Draven stared at Sebastian, raising a brow at him. He didn't speak; instead, he communicated through his eyes that he wasn't ready for any words, not until Sarah had rested.
"Anna," Sebastian said with a warning tone, "The witches will not harm us, even though they are aware we are with Draven. We could find out what they are up to until Draven joins us."
"But..." Anna began to protest, but Sebastian was holding her arms. "Now, Anna, we must leave."
Anna sighed, clearly disturbed with Draven's hand on Sarah.
"Report whatever you find to me," he nodded to Sebastian, barely glancing at Anna. "But you need to be careful. I will prepare the vampire should a war break out," he said, disappearing with Sarah in his hands.
