When Sarah cried, the tears, the emotions all stuck into Madeline like a prick of a needle.
"No!" she staggered, touching her chest where the bundle of emotions pierced through. She was in a dream; she was not meant to feel anything, so why? Why was she feeling... She crouched to the floor just like Sarah.
As Sarah remained there crying, Madeline watched her, wondering who she was, why she looked like her, and why she was in another person's dream, feeling her emotions... except.... She inhaled sharply.
Shortly, the sound of ball music danced through the air, reaching the room, making Sarah raise her head, her lips pouted.
Madeline noticed how pale and exhausted Sarah looked. Anger stirred within Sarah as she dragged her feet towards the bed. After a while, Sarah lay down and soon fell asleep.
The pain lessened, and Madeline felt as if she had been swept into a peaceful abyss. She waited, observing the girl as she slept.
