"Draven," Madeline kissed the top of his head, then stared into his eyes. There was pain in it, pain she understood was from his past. "It takes a lot of courage for you to tell me that."
"You deserve it," he leaned closer and pecked her lips. "You deserve all the wonderful things in this world, and I want to give them to you."
"Oh, you," she leaned her face in, "You are the sweetest."
He grinned, getting up from the bed. "I love you, Madeline Rose Gavin."
Madeline's chest swelled with love. How can this man be so sweet? This was the first time he had ever used her full name. "I love you too, Draven."
And then he clasped his mouth on hers, silencing every word with his lips, his breath caressing every bit of her. "You and me," he bit her lower lips, causing her to gasp as she held his head to steady herself, "Together, as one."
