Draven was initially too stunned to move or react. At first, he had wanted to make things right, to marry her and take her the right way. However, she surprised him by voicing out, "Are you certain?" His eyes darkened as he stared at the hooks unhooking in her dress, revealing her porcelain skin below her neck.
"Never been certain," although she was shy, he had no doubt she wanted this from the look in her eyes.
In the next second, Draven reached her and held her hand just before she would unbutton the hooks to reveal her collarbone.
"Sarah," his voice deepened, almost unrecognizable, "Do you have any idea about this?"
She shook her head shyly, knowing only that a man and a woman would come together to mate; she never knew how it was done. "I want this, Draven."
"I know," he said softly, rubbing her hand that still clung to her dress. "I want you as well, but I wanted to do it at the right time."
