After the force of light had lifted Madeline off her feet, she began to feel dizzy. Firstly, it started with not feeling her feet or hands; then a sharp pain in her chest, as if someone had stabbed her, and her eyes began to flutter, drifting her into a land of sleep.
As her eyes started to close, she saw Draven and Sebastian racing towards her, panic flashing in their eyes. She tried to speak but found no words coming out.
Draven was the first to hold her just before the force of the light dropped her on the floor. When he held her, she got the opportunity to gaze into his eyes until eventually everything faded away.
The next thing that greeted her, was darkness, as if she had been swept into a tunnel. Not long after, a light began appearing at the other side of the tunnel, and she began walking towards it.
