After we finished our lunch and got up from the table, Lord Fukasaku turned to us with a smile.
"That was a really good lunch, don't you think?" he said cheerfully.
"Yeah, it was amazing!" Gamakichi replied enthusiastically.
"Well, maybe for you guys it was," I grumbled. "For me, it felt more like a punishment than something to enjoy."
Lord Fukasaku chuckled and said, "What are you talking about? The food was delicious!" Then he added, "Anyway, take some time to relax now. We'll start the training process again tomorrow. But for now I got a gift for you..." He paused and pulled out a book, handing it over to me. "Take this!"
I glanced at the book and asked, "What is this?" Reading the title in my head, I realized it was called "The Tales of a Gutsy Ninja."
"This is the very first novel that Jiraiya ever wrote," he explained. "A lot of his thoughts and feelings are captured in this book."
"I understand. Thanks!" I replied, excitedly opening the book to start reading.
"I'll let you enjoy it in peace," Lord Fukasaku said with a smile. I nodded in agreement, grateful for the moment of quiet. Then, he turned to leave, and Gamakichi followed him out, leaving me alone with the book.
After some time, as I finished reading the book, I finally understood what it was really about. The book brought back so many memories of Jiraiya, the pervy sage, and his inspiring words echoed in my mind.
"I'll break that curse one day. If true peace exists in this world, I'll find it. I will never stop searching."
Those were his words in the book. Now, it's my responsibility to make his dream a reality. I am determined to bring peace to this world.
With my eyes, I can see through the hatred that surrounds us, and I'm willing to do anything it takes to eliminate that hatred. I will use my own strength to make this world a more peaceful place. I promise to change the world for the better.
