"Alright, here's the plan: we'll use these earpieces to stay in touch, and when the time's right, we pull the tags together. Got it?" Kakashi-sensei said. We had a brief discussion about using my Shadow Clones, but we decided against it.
Guy-Sensei, Neji, Rock Lee, and Tenten headed to the four tag locations, ready to remove them at the same time as Kakashi-sensei or any of us would, breaking the Five-Seal Barrier.
As planned, they moved to their positions.
A few moments later, "We're all set in front of our tags. Ready, Kakashi?" Guy-sensei said through the earpiece as Kakashi-sensei stood in front of the tag on the boulder.
"Yeah, ready," Kakashi-sensei replied. With a countdown of three, Kakashi-sensei and everyone else pulled their tags simultaneously, breaking the Five-Seal Barrier.
"Sakura, now!" Kakashi-sensei shouted, jumping off the boulder. Sakura charged at the boulder, her fist smashing it into countless pieces.
"Whoa, she's really strong," I thought to myself as we approached Sakura. "Nice punch!" I said, giving her a nod. She just smiled and gave a thumbs up.
"Alright, let's go," Sakura said, as we started walking into the cave—the Akatsuki's base.
As we walked inside the base , the whole cave is pitch black dark, only now as we broke through the boulder, the light from that place is lighting up bit of the portion of the cave.
Walking inside , the first thought came to my mind was - we're late, it's done. Two person was sitting over what it looked like the body of Gaara, they finished their work already and we were late.
"You guys are finally here, we were getting bored waiting for you." One of them said , the person with the same hair colour of mine.
"Is that Gaara !?" Sakura questioned from the side, "That means..."
"Will the both of you mind to stand up from the place you're sitting cause I don't think that's an appropriate place of sitting." I said
"What If we don't, wait, we didn't introduced ourselves, how bad... I'm Deidara, And this is Sasori." He said pointing towards his companion, although I don't think Sasori liked that much, "So which one of you is the Jhinchuriki ?" He questioned
"I will say this last time , stand up from your place or it would take some mere seconds for me to destroy you." I said, with a expressionless face
"Calm down Naruto, you need to workout a plan first." Kakashi-sensei said.
"So you're the one to speak up first, so I'll guess you're the Jhinchuriki, then I'll take on you." He said
"Sasori..." Granny Chiyo mused from the other side.
"You two are familiar ?" I asked.
She didn't replied, just simple nod that indicates that they're not just familiar, they were very closely related.
"What they are doing ?" Sakura asked as we look at two of them arguing with each other about who is gonna fight the Jhinchuriki, which is me.
The left guy, who was calling himself... Deidara, stood up and took out something of his pouch and all of a sudden a explosion formed in front of him and as the smoke vanished, there was a bird made of , what it seemed like cley was standing there.
"It is a far cry from your silly puppet shows!" He said to Sasori, before jumping over the bird as the birds took the body of Gaara in it's mouth and the bird started flying as he looked at me while passing me with a smirk.
"Kakashi-sensei!" I called, "I would take him on alone, you all decide what you gonna do to that man over there." I said as I walked towards the base entrance
As I walked toward the entrance, Kakashi-sensei said, "Naruto, he's trying to lure you in and make you angry. Don't act recklessly."
"I'm not angry, and I'm definitely not acting recklessly. Relax, I've got this under control. If you want, Sakura and I can follow that guy outside, while you and Granny Chiyo handle the masked dude inside. But let's not waste any more time," I replied, strolling outside with a confident smirk, knowing Kakashi-sensei was right behind me.
"I can't leave you alone now," Kakashi-sensei insisted.
"Whatever," I shrugged, as we finally stepped out and saw Deidara, the Akatsuki member, perched on his bird, grinning just like he did when he left the cave.
"He's flying on his bird, so we need to..." Kakashi-sensei began.
"Can you fly?" I interrupted him, a playful glint in my eye.
"What do you mean, fly?" Kakashi-sensei questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"I mean this," I said, using the space manipulation technique to levitate. "It's not exactly flying, more like floating. He's up there on his bird, so fighting him from the ground won't cut it."
"When did you learn that?" he asked, clearly surprised.
"Picked it up during training," I replied. "But I've got to go. He's already getting too far ahead. You should join Sakura and Granny Chiyo in their fight. Trust me, I'll be more than fine handling him alone." With that, I started flying toward Deidara.
"If you need help, just use the earpiece to communicate," Kakashi-sensei called out from behind. I gave a thumbs-up without looking back and zoomed ahead.
He couldn't have gone far, so I quickly caught up to him as he looked back.
"You came alone, huh? You've got guts, I'll give you that," Deidara said with a smirk.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not in the mood for talking right now. Let's take you down real quick," I said.
"You think you can take me down real quick? Boy, that's some arrogance," he retorted.
"It's not arrogance if you can back it up," I said. "Now, let me show you what real strength is."
"You talk too much. Let me show you my ar—" Before he could finish, I teleported in front of him. "Cursed Technique Reversal: Red," I declared, and in a matter of seconds, the clay bird he was riding on was destroyed, along with Deidara himself. The debris from the bird fell to the ground.
As I scanned the area, my eyes landed on Gaara's falling body. I quickly teleported underneath to catch him and safely landed on the ground, laying his body gently down.
Just then, I heard a voice from behind. "I... am not... done..." Deidara wheezed.
I glanced back with a smirk. "Believe it or not, you were done the moment you met me," I said. "Rasengan," I whispered, teleporting myself to him again and slamming the Rasengan into him. His body fell to the ground, shattering it with the force of the attack.
As I glanced back at the ground, the spot where his body lay was now just a lifeless husk... I actually killed someone with my own hands, maybe for the first time? Oh wait, I did take out that Yura guy from the sand.
But back then, I thought I was just fighting an Itachi clone. Still, that's two people in just three or four days.
Does that make me as bad as them?
Nah, of course not. I'm not the one picking these fights; they're the ones getting in my way. I've got a mission, and right now, it's to rescue Gaara, the Kazekage of the Sand. I have to do whatever it takes, even if it means taking out a few bad apples.
The world is crawling with rotten people who don't deserve the same treatment as decent folks. Some people, if left unchecked, can cause chaos, destroy lives, and plunge society into turmoil. I can't let that happen.
When you have the power to make a difference and you don't, and then bad things happen, they happen because of you.
And I'm not about to stand by and watch bad things unfold right in front of me. I'll stop them, even if it means carrying the weight of killing those people with my own hands.
If someone needs to do it, I'll be the honored one
