"Let me go" Alvera demanded as she tried to push Seraiya away from her. "I… I can't take anymore!" Alvera cried. "I'm only giving you what you always wanted Sajorna… power… all the power you could ever want," Seraiya told her.
"How do you know that name?" Alvera asked surprised. "I learned a lot of things when I was in a coma after you tried to kill me," Seraiya told her. "I found it pretty ironic how you went from others wanting to take your power, to taking the power of others," Seraiya said sarcastically. "It's why I've decided to give you exactly what you want," she told her as Alvera tried to pull her arm away forcing Seraiya to only grip tighter.
Alvera suddenly began to fade. Slowly Turning into the golden energy that once entered her. "Don't do this" Alvera pleaded. "I told you this is where either one or both of us end" Seraiya replied. "At first I thought I could never stop you, I thought that you would kill me and everything would go your way" Seraiya continued. "But you said it yourself" she added as alvera began to fade more and more. "I have the power of a god within me," she said.
"And you know… I've never been much for gods" Seraiya said as her eyes gave off a golden glow. "But I have a feeling this is exactly what some of them would want"
"Wait," alvera said. Her fear of death obvious to Seraiya "I can teach you to use this power as a god should" said Alvera "You'll even be able to bring your friends back from the dead without a price after all gods don't pay the price of their magic" Alvera said trying to convince Seraiya to keep her alive. "You had the chance to do that when you had control of my mind" Seraiya replied. "Now that you face death you'll do anything to try to convince me to keep you alive" she added. "But you have killed so many" Seraiya said. "And because of you Amani is dead and Anya is dead, who else needs to die in order for you to live?" Seraiya asked Alvera.
"Together we can bring them back," Alvera told her. Seraiya gripped her hand even tighter around Alvera's neck. "You and I both know keeping you alive would destroy any balance the world has left in it," Seraiya said coldly. "No matter how much I want to bring them back…" she hesitated for a moment as tears began to fill her eyes, "no matter how much I wish they could be here right now to watch me turn you to dust I know they wouldn't want it if it meant hurting anyone else," she told Alvera.
"So you leaving this earth is for them," she told Alvera. "May the gods Destroy your soul entirely so it can never come back to wreak havoc on innocent people again" she added "I hope you rot in hell" Seraiya said as Alvera finally turned completely into golden energy.
The energy that once surrounded them wasted no time going back into Seraiya, forcing her to her knees by the sudden burst back into her body.
Suddenly it started to rain. It was now dark. Seraiya hadn't even noticed. She tilted her head up towards the sky as the rain fell on her face.
Was it over? She asked herself. Was Alvera finally gone? No! Was she actually Dead? After all this time, after all the pain and loss and almost being killed Seraiya had finally succeeded. It almost seemed too easy. A little anticlimactic.
"Seraiya" Zack called to her as he slowly walked over to her. Seraiya slowly turned to Zack. "How's Aaron?" she asked him. Zack hesitated for a moment before shaking his head.
Another person she loved died. She thought to herself. The tears that had once welled up in her eyes finally fell down her cheeks. The rain began to pour from the sky as everyone who was once frozen in time and had watched Seraiya defeat Alvera now surrounded her.
Vampires, witches, and wolves alike all stood around her. Wolves of Aaron's pack. Witches who respected and learned from Anya. It was luck, that Alvera chose to freeze them in time instead of killing them. It was luck that only Anya and Aaron died instead of hundreds of others. But guilt still weighed heavy on Seraiya for their deaths. After all, they shouldn't have died.
Seraiya stood up and walked over to Damien, who still sat by Anya's and Aaron's lifeless bodies. "In life they loved, and in love, they died," Seraiya said simply as she stared down at Anya and Aaron who lay lifeless on the ground next to each other.
Seraiya turned to the crowd that still watched her in silence. "The False god Alvera is dead!" Seraiya shouted for all to hear. "As I speak those once under her influence should be regaining control of themselves as their now freed from the shackles that once kept them trapped," she told them. "The crowd suddenly began to cheer as Seraiya turned and walked away.
She made her way to the pack house and now wondered what would happen from this day forth.
"Seraiya" Piper called up the stairs. "Someone's here to see you" Piper added. It had been almost a week since Alvera was killed. Those who were once under her control had traveled far and wide to meet Seraiya the one who had saved them. And Seraiya had met each and every one of them one by one.
Seraiya made her way down the steps. "Seraiya, it's been some time," a man familiar to Seraiya said with a smile. "Beta Michael? What are you doing here?" Seraiya asked as she stopped at the bottom of the steps. "We were going over Aarons will and it looks like he left something to you," he told her simply.
"What would he possibly leave to me that's so important to fly across an ocean to tell me?" Seraiya asked confused. "Seraiya," said the beta. "In his will, Aaron named you as the Heir of the pack," the beta told her. "Your now the Alpha of Eastern Europe's Largest pack" he added.
