"Has anyone told them?" Aizawa Sensei asked, walking inside of the strangely silent classroom. Kacchan and I were holding hands and talking about our plans this weekend but we were also talking in Korean so I don't think anyone else understood us. At least not that anyone let on.
"Sir, none of us are that foolhardy," Iida answered and I looked up confused. What are they so afraid of?
"Nerd, you almost killed Shitty Hair just from him waking us up yesterday. What else could they possibly be afraid of?" Kacchan chuckled, only now letting my hand go but not before giving it a light squeeze next to my ring.
"Not fair, I'm not that scary," I pouted which only made him chuckle more.
"You're right, you're so much more," he smiled back at me and I frowned.
"That just made it sound worse though," I whined and he only chuckled some more. Am I that scary? I mean really?
"Right," Aizawa Sensei sighed. "Bakugo and Yagi, go to All Might's office. He can tell you," I tilted my head confused about what could possibly be going on but Kacchan just put his notebooks back into his bag and I followed his lead. Why do I get the feeling that we won't be back today? No that's ridiculous, I mean we still have to save Eri and we are so close to having the evidence that we need. Actually, we can probably save her today, a little hacking and we could turn the villain gang on its head for a few hours…
"Come on Deku, you can scheme later," Kacchan chuckled and I looked at him confused. Wait, does that mean he agrees?
"Scheme?" But he just laughed at my confusion while nodding. Am I really that bad? I mean really? He led me out of the room and I just smiled holding his hand, if nothing else I know one thing. I love Kacchan. Actually what is wrong with me? I've been practically fixated on him all day. I understand that we just started having sex but still, what if I weirded him out with it? Or scare him away? I was starting to panic but I felt him give my hand a slight squeeze and I could ground myself again.
No, Kacchan is far too strong for me to scare away, not with me just feeling my emotions. At least I'm aware that I'm doing it now so I should be able to back off if he starts to get too uncomfortable.
"Don't," I looked up, confused by his words. "I'm not uncomfortable," he looked back at me with a soft smile before adding. "It's a relief to know you feel just as strongly as I do. It would hurt if you didn't."
Oh my God, now I really want to kiss him! He chuckled at me as we walked through the halls and when I got to Dad's office we found Monamoa standing at the door talking to Dad.
"Boys!" Dad looked up smiling and I grinned back at him.
"Hey Dad! Are we interrupting? Aizawa Sensei told us to come here and that you could tell us something because no one else in class wanted to?" I hope he can just laugh it off and send us back to class but his smile turned sad. Well shit.
"Why don't you two go inside and make yourself a cup of cocoa? I'll be in in just a minute," he still has that sad smile on his face. Fucking shit.
"So you're All Might's son, no wonder you were so confident during the sports festival," Monamoa grumbled under his breath but Dad heard him just fine.
"He is confident because he is a pro hero and confidence can save lives. Don't mistake confidence for arrogance, young man. They have worked hard and they only just came back from a mission from outside of the country, a feat most never achieve and they do it almost every weekend," Dad frowned at the class B student who looked like he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
"Serves the bastard right," Kacchan huffed and I let out a sigh, I guess no matter how many lives we have Kacchan will never willingly get along with him. The first time around he took Kacchan's quirk and hurt himself and instead of owning the fact that he did absolutely no research on what he would be doing he tried to blame Kacchan saying that it was his fault for not releasing all the information. Yeah, Kacchan almost beat the hell out of him and if it wasn't for the fact that we were in the hospital at the time I think he would have succeeded.
"You-!" He started but Dad cleared his throat and he stopped midway.
"Cocoa sounds great Dad. Did we need to brief you on the mission in Mexico? It was declassified before we got on the plane though," I asked, still slightly confused but I couldn't help baiting the class B student. He really put Kacchan through a lot of scrutiny all because he wasn't paying attention. The fact he almost lost his arm because of it wasn't enough punishment if I do say so myself.
Kacchan gave my hand a light squeeze and a soft smile. "Cocoa sounds nice, I wonder if Uncle has spicy or peppermint?" He asked me and I saw Dad roll his eyes at us. Well at least he isn't that dense.
I pulled Kacchan into the office and we chatted about the pyramids and the hiking we were able to do while on the mission and then the disaster relief that we helped out with on our way back.
"Huh, now that I think about it. I don't really remember flying home yesterday, or how we got from the airport back to school," I frowned and looked at Kacchan who looked like he was just as frustrated.
"Me neither. Probably a quirk effect. Maybe that's why Sensei sent us to Uncle's office. We probably need to be debriefed or in this case briefed," he shrugged his shoulders. I guess we will know soon enough. The door closed behind us and we went about making our cocoa and I found the small fruit bowl he keeps here so he had something to munch on and grabbed a couple bananas too. Not like it could hurt.
Dad came back in just a few minutes later and he saw the fresh cup of cocoa in front of his seat and I saw him soften a little. With everything going on recently we haven't actually gotten to spend time with him and I don't really like that either.
"Why don't we start with you two telling me what you remember from the last couple days?" He gave a forced smile. Looks like Kacchan was right, of course, but I wonder what happened to put Dad so on edge?
