Chapter 194 - A Winter-Crest Night

Waiting outside of the inn, in front of the car, for my women I slowly began pulling on the collar of my dress-suit. A snazzy maroon coloured jacket mixed with pure white undershirt snuggly fit my form as a silver chain dangled from my lapel, a watch placed within the a pocket on my left breast. A simple black tie with white polka dots perfectly ran down the middle of my entire ensemble, dress shoes tightly grasping onto my ankles as my hair was tied into a beautiful bun.

I had spent a lot of time working on this look, getting the opinions of my wives while also adding minor elements that were purely 'me'. The entire suit was enchanted by my Shuna, her size adjustment magic and various other well-suited enchantments making me much more comfortable. Though, I did need to implement my own air-conditioning runes on the inner lining of my jacket to ensure I was comfortable.

Speaking of a long time, my women were sure as hell taking their merry time. We had been due to set off around ten minutes ago and they had yet to even made noise of being ready... My old friends on Earth had always told me of their women being like this. As a woman I had just discarded it as men complaining about something they don't understand. 'They were right... Fuck this is tedious...' Then, as if to mock my thoughts, my women emerged from my demi-plane portal; right in front of me.

Shuna was dressed in a bright red dress. Floral designs wreathed the entire top half until it met a seam that lead onwards into a long continuously flowing red skirting. Her arms were left open enough to allow room to move but were nicely accentuated by small gaps in the floral design that flowed over her shoulder and joined with the back piece. She was absolutely stunning... Beyond that, she was ravishing...

But just as I was close to speaking I almost choked on my own tongue as I witnessed the most cute and salivating sight i would probably ever see. Milim, she was in a muted pink dress, regal in softness but almost shining with the faintest of silvers. Hers was much like Shuna's but more princess-like, more medieval in its base design. No makeup was placed upon their faces, yet they looked like the most serenely wonderful angels that one could ever look at.

"A-ah...umm... You both look... I have no words... You are making me speechless..."

Shuna straightened her posture and gleamed at the compliment. Milim blushed massively whilst twirling the small frills of her dress that her hands were near. It seemed that my little dragon was loving my look also.

"We are divine, I know. Besides that... you, are sexy..." She eyed me up and down, stopping on my face for several moments until she dazedly blinked and began scanning once more.

"I thought the few stray strands of hair in front of my face would frame it better."

"Honey knows best!" Milim broke out from her embarrassment and shouted louder than she wanted to, people inside the inn poking out of the windows to have a look now. Their response was almost cartoonish in the way they gawked and dropped their jaws. Even the maids were giving me 'unique' glances.

"Let's go, let's go... I don't want to be stared at for much longer."

Shuna chuckled.

"Impossible, even at dinner people are going to stare. How can they not, when you look like that. If you were to put on a male accent I bet you could play being a man."

Shaking my head, I opened the doors for my women. Then, after aiding them inside, I walked around the car to the front. A moment after that we took off from the Inn down the winding path, towards the next layer of Kraghammer. The Heart.

The Heart itself was much of the same as The Arch. It had towers and citadel-adjacent walls and battlements. However, this section was named the heart for a reason. Every political entity within Kraghammer resided within this level. The families of Kraghammer specifically... House Bronzegrip, Maintainers of the law and managers of the Carvers; the military... House Greyspine, An influential Kraghammer house headed by Gradim Greyspine, the former Ironkeeper; ruler of Kraghammer... House Thunderbrand, The foremost house in all things magic... And, House Zuurthom, The foremost house for architecture and masonry.

Beside these massive details resided the smaller more, obscure, ones. Snowflake symbols and varying winter-crest runes littered many houses. In place of lights within Christmas decorations, they instead had hundreds of candles lit dimly at the entryways of each house. Tinsel was replaced with thin strips of cloth in red and blues, hung from arches, doors, street gaps and many other odd places.

People down here were adorned in brighter garb, bright blues and reds becoming a blur of colour amidst the hundreds or possibly thousands down here. Even noble houses had this spirit permeating their estates as trees were decorated with these thin cloth strips but also glowing magical lights. At the top of each of these 'winter-crest trees' was a resplendent snowflake maintained via magic and as large as someone's head.

No snow was present down here, but the children seemed to have made up for that weakness as we witnessed many of them gathering clumps of barely frozen ice. With said clumps they threw it at one another, ice melting on contact directly into water... They were essentially playing water tag with finely 'crafted' clumps of barely frozen ice. Milim sulked to me for continuing on as she said she wanted to do that too. Shuna consoled her and we soon traversed deeper into this 'heart' of the city.

Where one would expect to see less celebration the closer you got to noble-type estates, instead it was reversed. The spectacles became more immense, more powerful. Competitions were surely being conducted for the people to place so much effort into these displays. Nobles that drove past in wagons wore finery of the most delicious reds and greens, blues very rarely seen amongst adults.

Eventually taking in all of these sights we arrived at the Greyspine household. My house paled in comparison to this one with its possibly hundreds of rooms. Marble made the entire houses' pillars and main structure whilst fine oak woods and gems made the majority of the finer detailing. One hundred wagons were park out the front of the house already, being guarded by some rather professional seeming butlers and guards.

'Shit I need someone to look after my car... Souei?'

'Nah. Benimaru? Nope, he'd just come in. Oh! I know!'

"Ruphia, come to me." I spoke aloud as my women cocked their heads.

Immediately a portal enwreathed itself from my shadow and spat out my Primordial Servant. Said servant sat in the passenger-side seat, her purple eyes boring into my face. She was probably frustrated.

"I was about to kiss Rigurd!"

"Oi. You were summoned by me, you'll be happy you get to even spend time with him."

"Hmph. Whatever it is, I refuse."

"Fine then... No time for you and Rigurd anymore..."

"AH! You bitch...!"

"None of the sass... Do this job and you can go back."

As we approached the front gates in the car I heard her sulking and sighing like a teenager. Then, as we were about to lower the windows she slapped her lips together and gave in...

"Fine... What is it?"

"Guard the car whilst we are inside. Try to spy on private conversations inside, let me know what they say."

She rolled her eyes but nodded.

"Fine, easy enough. Shuna-san, Milim-san, you look pretty tonight... Wish you all the best."

As we came to a stop she opened her door and stepped out to meet with the guard who was panicking at how to approach our weird contraption of a wagon.

"Why does she act nice to you two, but not to me?"

"Honey is her boss...!"

"We are more neutral in a way, you hold sway over her."

Sighing I started moving the car forwards, the gates opening as Ruphia sat on the bonnet of the car, her eyes staring straight at me. Despite her best attempts to unsettle me she just seemed desperate to go back to what she was doing.

Parking up with the other wagons I stepped out and let my women out. We instantly attracted attention from everyone, especially given our more prominent colours and styles. Earth' styles were beyond the quality of anything that Exandria could even produce currently and we had three designs from there. Like stars in the sky, we stood out.

Linking arms with my wives we strut into the Greyspine house. Smells of freshly roasted meats and the intoxicating perfume of confectionaries met us first. Then came the bizarrely intricate decorations that looked much like Christmas on Earth but way more Medieval-ized. Instead of baubles on the trees there hung little painted depictions of Giant heads and Troll heads. Drow ears were hung alongside these also, all artistic interpretations etched into wood, but still slightly disturbing to my vision of what Christmas was supposed to be.

Presents were not wrapped here, instead they seemed to be in large sacks that were magically enchanted to turn whoever touched them before a certain time into wacky creature for a few minutes. One kid touched one in impatience and ended up becoming a frog. He jumped around for a little while until he suddenly transformed back, giggling and crying at the same time.

Hundreds of guests were walking around during all of this and almost none of them had made the effort to walk forwards and say hello. Whether Xenophobia or just simple mistrust, it was still slightly hurtful. That was until...

"Ohhh! Ye made it just in time..." A Dwarven man with bright natural red hair and energetic green eyes walked over to us. He was dressed in a rather simple but bombastic form of noble attire, flaring ruffles at the neck and hands mixed with the visage of a few buttons bulging under stress of breaking, keeping back his muscles.

"I heard ye be an envoy from a nation called wee Tempest? Could ye inform me of where ye wee nation came from?"

"Good to meet you, I assume you are the Ironkeeper..."

"Ai!"

"Good, my name is Silviana Solaris. I am the head leader of Tempest beside a man named Rimuru. These are my lovely wives, Shuna-" Shuna curtsied, " and Milim-" Milim rose her head in a 'what'sup gesture'.

"Beautiful ladies ye have brought with ye Silviana... But to answer my question...?"

"We come from another world known as Tensura. Currently we are settled on the continent of Issylra."

His eyes narrowed for a few seconds but immediately became jovial just a few moments later.

"Well then... we here do welcome yee to Kraghammer, home of Dwarves, Men and Gnomes alike! We are but simple miners and craftsmen, some of different natures, but still all the same. I hope ye enjoy ye stay. Also, merry Winters Crest."

...

From there we joined in on the festivities, drinking, eating and conversing with the native nobility and their children. Stories were shared and tales told as gifts were released upon the descendants of the families.

Feeling the lack of gifts that we had come with I decided to quickly forge a smithing hammer for their leader, making some smaller less costly ones for some kids during the time of the party.

When it came to late in the party I met once more with the Ironkeeper, presenting him a Cobalt, Magi-steel and Graphene hammer enchanted with multiple different abilities that would aid him in making weapons better. At the same time my wives dispensed some small gifts for the kids, candies, toy sword and even some the prized smithing hammers for their families to keep.

Accepting these gifts the Dwarves took us in fully and proceeded to get shit faced for the rest of the night, me and my wives following suit...

"Let's get fucking wasted!"

"Calm down Milim!"

"Whhhooooooo! Mwilim is swo cwute when sweh is dwunk..."

Shuna was dancing around, hanging onto me for support as I was completely immune to being drunk. Milim was intentionally letting the alcohol get to her as she ploughed back another meed and whiskey, together.

"Jwoin us Swilvi...! Jowoin uws..."

"MERRY WINTER-CREST!!!" The dwarves all shouted to the ceiling as the kids were escorted swiftly out into the backyard by the still cognisant staff.

'Fuck it! I'll join in, but I ain't losing all of my mental capacity.'
