The morning of the next day was a quiet one, especially for the three ladies that knew what was going on. The only people that were engrossed in a conversation were Cassandra, Stella and grandmother Loretta who were clueless about everything.
The discussion took a turn when they grilled Logan about Roman. Grandmother Loretta was displeased that her grandson had been such a poor judge of character.
"I always felt uneasy around him, there was just something dark about him, even when he smiled you could see that he wasn't sincere." Cassandra commented.
Logan who was initially quiet claimed that obviously he too was hoodwinked by the man. "I wonder what kind of grudge he had against Nate that drove him to the point of shooting at him.
He's going to be prosecuted soon since he confessed already and bail is not an option because he's a flight risk."
